It's actually very impressive how they're able to break character in the middle of the sketch, get a bit of improv banter in, and then get back into it without losing a beat (or a laugh). They must have a ton of experience playing off each other and performing.

I relate so hard to Arms in this although I am from Tennessee ...I grew up having to go to speech therapy because I couldn't pronounce "r" to save my life. Unfortunately, the teacher was from somewhere up north. My uncle called me the Yank because I didn't have enough of a twang! My twang comes out when I'm mad or tired.

I love this so much. Some day I want to take a few months off and travel the Isles to hear these accents in their native habitats, then return to this from a place of increased familiarity. Much love from an American raised in Latin America, educated in South Africa and temporarily living in Rome while pursuing a masters at a German university… I wish I had such clarity to my accent.

im from dublin. dad's from north strand, mam has a more neutral accent so i always had a watered down version of my dad's accent. moved to a posh area and my accent has unfortunately changed ... but it still goes very dublin when im angry. so those last 30 seconds really hit home lmao
