Would love to see what the range on this thing is with a couple Sharrow props!

You took the words right out of my mouth! Wonder what the effect would be.

Looks pretty IN the water to me for a hydrofoil.
@dr349942 жыл бұрын
think more surface foiling. a lot simpler and you still get a lot of benefit. full foiling boats coming out (look at some of the new electric boats like candela) have limitations in heavy seas.
@Ballista7622 жыл бұрын
@@dr34994 They don't have any photos whatsoever of the hull. The FoilCat website also states the hull design is limited to 58 mph due to hydrofoil cavitation. Interesting.

@Ballista I have a world cat 320cc, pretty comparable boat....I'd LOVE to be able to go 58 mph....or even cruise in the 40s as this claims to do. Now...I'd compare this to an insetta....I'm sure the mysterious price point would be the biggest deciding factor

can we see the foil ?

Where is the foil?
@dreed7312 Жыл бұрын
Do they ever show the foil they are talking about? Is it on the boat, or the engine lowers? The propellers on the motors surely arent moving, what keeps them in the water? Fountain did this with a stepped hull.

Not sure about foilcats, but Insetta's is a permanent piece between the sponsons
@marshmellow31107 ай бұрын
It’s permanently mounted to the sponsons a little towards the rear of the boat.

I'm almost 80 years old, been boating most of my life... Every few years the boating community catches what I like to call 'catamaranitis' a very expensive disease... 'Nuff said!!!...

Not a big fan of Cats? Or just not much of a difference to you? Just curious with your experience that’s all, I’ve been looking into them but not sure.

@@nicoblac9368 Don't want to seem evasive but,, depends on what you're going to use the vessel for and where you're going to use it... Get back to me when you can and give me the details and I'll do my best... Thanks. 2:20 p.m. here in Glendale Arizona. We don't turn the clocks LOL contact me as late at night as you want. Why the tug boat rub rail? Some of us can actually maneuver a boat and don't need inches of padding. Looks terrible. Insetta 35 gets my vote.

All talk, no show regarding the actual before and after use...al-la Seakeeper...and the Europeans have led the way w/ other examples that come to mind, such as Aquila's 32 Sport Power Catamaran (pleasure Cat, for sure), but Swiftcat as another example...I'm glad a fishing Cat is possible, but an example of the Tech at work would have been more useful than this talking head commercial.
