I saw this a few months ago and was interested but now I decided it's the perfect gift for the German exchange student at our school. It will be the perfect representation of america (dollar bill) and our school, whose mascot is an eagle. I am so excited! I hope I can fold it!

Ya, use a 3X7 rectangle of paper. That means the length of the rectangle should be a little more than twice as long as its width (3 inches by 7 inches.... or 6 inches by 14 inches etc.)

@viclovevivi Any 3 by 7 rectangle will work... to obtain a 3 by 7 rectangle, fold a square paper into an 8X8 grid of creases (fold in half, in fourths and in eighths in both directions) and cut off a 3 unit by 7 unit rectangle.

Easiest Way to learn this is to pause the video. Put your mouse on the bar with the circle that moves when the video is playing. You will see a small image pop up showing the point of the video that your mouse is over. Slowly move your mouse to the right and that is the fastest way to learn!

You guys can use any size rectangle you want, as long as it isnt square. I used a half-square (1:2 rectangle) and it worked fine, the wings were just a bit long. I believe euro notes should work, too

That's weird because the dollar is longer than 2:1 so using a 2:1 should result in shorter wings.

@TheDucTapeExperience Maybe try it from a large rectangle (3X7). It'll be easier to see the creases. The complex graphics on the dollar can make it quite confusing.
