This scene is so frustrating because folding in cheese is so mindlessly easy that it’s actually quite difficult to explain the process or to clarify. It’s literally really is just “you fold it in” and you cannot condense it any further than that. But it’s frustrating on the other side too because of course they don’t know what “fold it in” means and just repeating it over and over doesn’t help clarify. Brilliant scene indeed.

for those who do not know how to actually fold in cheese it’s actually kinda simple just add in the cheese and continuously in a folding motion with the a spatula or spoon bring the sauce on top until the cheese melts

And for those who are still confused "folding motion with the spatula" means you scoop the mix from the bottom of the pot and drop it on the top of the mix in one fluid, folding motion. The point is to mix gently and maintain volume instead of stirring vigorously and squashing all the air/volume in the mix.
