Did you cut your binding on the straight or on the bias?

I wonder that since the project is circular it would lay flatter if the perimeter was clipped before putting on the bias binding. Nice tips on positioning and placement!👍

I love this but had difficulty sewing through all the layers. My stitches kept skipping, leaving huge gaps where stitches were 1-1 1/2” long. Any suggestions how to avoid this?

Ohh no! Then I would move up on needle size, depending on your fabric maybe a size 14. I use a Jean/denim needle alot

@@Charmedbyashley I actually did try that, with thicker thread, but the issue persisted. Should I try the denim/jeans needle with thin thread? I’m at my wits’ end!!!

Yeah I use my standard thread when using my denim needle
