In case youd get color scuffing at parts of box that touch your feeder marks, what would you try to fix first?

Nice video. By the way, is that the board that is really light? It’s like 2-3 times lighter than regular board? We used to run that. You can pick up a whole stack of 500 cartons and it’s like a couple pounds only. Lol. We called it ‘banana board’ because I think it’s from South America, or Central America and it’s from banana trees. That’s what I heard anyways. We don’t run it anymore. It was kind of a pain in the ass sometimes. It’s so light. No density to it.

We usually run anything from 10pt to 24 pt. Once in a while we get something outside that range. “ banana board” I think your referring to the yellowish/brownies, tan color of the paper, it’s Recycled paper. It do run slightly different, the paper has a curl to it especially in the feeder, but you can run it wide open.

@@foldergluertraining yeah. That must not be it then. It just looks a lot like it. The stuff I ran was virgin board but it was extremely light weight. Like .016 cal. If you picked up a stack of 500 cartons it was like picking up air. The back side was really blotchy looking. Just like that board in this video. I was surprised to see someone else running it. I only ran it for a year or two a while ago.

@@foldergluertraining You’ve ran 10 pt before? Holy shit! That must be a treat to run! I’ve only ever ran down to 12 pt. 10 must be like running copy paper. Lol. I would assume a lot of pressure marks and the glue is probably visible on the print side.

@@masterfolder3155 sometimes 8pt but that’s dealing with bindery work. Need to adjust for marks and I usually run dots for the glue
