I am a little amazed about the lack of special bike-lanes and the strange measures you have to do to go round, using and crossing in the walkers area. Most places in major cities in Denmark we have special light signals for bikers.
@NoZenith2 жыл бұрын
Everyone else in the entire world envies you're raised pedestrian / bikeways and bike signals
@NoZenith2 жыл бұрын
Actually, for more clarification, where they are riding on the sidewalk in the beginning of the video, that is illegal in most of the United States. That is pedestrian exclusive and bicycles have to act like a car and stay in traffic on the road and abide by many of the motor vehicle requirements as they are considered a vehicle
@MrJofArnold2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, same in London now. I've ridden a few times in US and for me it's scary af
@NoZenith2 жыл бұрын
@@MrJofArnold yeah I live in the capital city of Michigan, Lansing and since it's really not pedestrian-friendly anyway, many people just ride on the sidewalk since it's not safe in the road.
@MrJofArnold2 жыл бұрын
@@NoZenith I remember riding along the 82 to get to the supermarket when I lived in Mountain View and it felt like I was a tortoise on a motorway! 😬To be fair, many people ride on the sidewalk in London too as some roads are still quite intimidating. It's technically not illegal here providing you're not being disruptive.

Another interesting video - I love the ‘ride alongs’ you share with us it’s years since I visited NY and I never saw the outer areas! Thanks for sharing! Is the ride round the Boroughs open to anyone or only residents…? That Phillipino restaurant looks good too! 👍🙌😁

👩🏼🦲You can ride anywhere. It does get busy with cars later in the day so you have to pay attention more.

Nice that is great wide open area. I don't see other Brompton riders that much in Queens. Usually I see them in Manhattan.
Awesome video bro! Can share what brake levers you install that can used back the brompton 4 speed shifter? I still love the shifter.
@BromptonFamilyTime2 жыл бұрын
The brake brand can be anything, but you will need a shifter adaptor. There are several brands but I like the H&H Shifter Adaptor because you can mount the original bell to it with the shifter.

July 2022: $6/gal here south of San Francisco meaning it'll be more expensive in the city. 5:20 Vandalism? I've been to the Philippines a couple of times. Fried pork, fried chicken, pastry, spaghetti, fried fish, white rice, fried wonton & hardly any veggies. They're just asking for heart disease.

I'm happy that you tried Filipino food. Next time try to eat Kaldereta either kambing (goat) or baka (cow). Also please try to eat bicol express if you are into spicy food and kare-kare if you want oxtail.

You can loosen the bolt and retighten it after you fold it and its suppose to be pushed to the side when folded. I don't like it though.
