Well done guys, very enjoyable and informative video, enjoy Gordon and his epic videos as well. My wife and I are caravaners as well along with our not so little Frenchie, George, and have our annual 6 weeks up in Foster Tuncurry starting February. We always take our normal peddle bikes with us, but this year I have just purchased my first Ebike, an Ampdbros classic fat tyre stubby cruiser and absolutely love it, so much fun!! And now trying to talk my wife onto getting an ebike, so the search is on. Anyway keep up the good work, really did enjoy your video. Hey mate I know this is a joke but ... I came to Oz in 2006 landing in WA my intial reaction was wow! I didnt realise Oz was soooo segregated for the amount of people living here hahaha! think about it and think outside your box! For the amount of people living in a vast expanse of land why are you so divided? Nuts! Complicated and open for corruption. Oz needs to unite with everybody and everything being equal. After all the old is dead and gone. Let the new evolve and move forward. Thank you ps I am talking from experience ... I have lived in almost every state! Really enjoyed your video! Looking at an ebike in the near future with a throttle so i don't have to pedal all of the time. Those folding bikes really do become nice and compact! Isn't it amazing how far bikes have come in the last 10 years? Thanks for sharing!

Yes, we take the bikes everwhere, the fat tyres really give the bikes stability on sand gravel uneaven surfaces etc. Try a few electric bikes you will find one that suits your lifestyle. Above all have fun. 😊

I really enjoyed this video .I was wondering if the 4 inch tyres become cumbersome after time . I you could do over would you go for a narrower tyre?

Hi Golden Reward the wider Tyres (4Inch) are so stable on all surfaces. I defiantly would not go back to a narrow tyres ever again :-) We did try out a lot of electric bikes before we decided on these. I would suggest try as many as you can, what suits us may not suit you, however be rest assured you will eventually find the right e-bike that will suit you and your life style..

We got the bags when we bought the e-bikes at The Electric Bike Super Store in Malvern, Victoria (Hope that helps)

Good vid. I suppose those tires would be more reassuring on tram tracks. Have you cycles on any fire tracks in the hills. Just curious about handling and comfort on rubbly loose'ish gravel on the steep bits. Do they slide on wet bull dust rather than cut through to the base. Just asking, looking to buy.

We have had these bikes for over 3 years now, rode on beaches, over rough and muddy tracks, cannot fault them gives us oldies more stability gets us to places we wouldn't be able to get to on thinner tyers 😄

Hi Ron, I believe this bike has had some improvements since we bought ours (4 years ago) the current equivalent is ANT E-BIKE or Earth FOLDING E-bike our bikes were about $2,000 however the equivalent is a bit cheaper now. (sorry, but not sure of exact pricing) If you can test ride a few to see what suits you, the best advice I could offer is to go to someone that specialises in E bikes (We use our E bikes on every trip, still look like new, and battery life still great)
