It's not hard to do....
@MrsFlowerpot11 ай бұрын
@@schambers8301 It can be under the wrong weather conditions. Also in summer it could be dangerous to make fire, starting a fire can be difficult if you have no idea what you're doing. In some countries there are wild animals that could be dangerous like bears or wolfs so it's actually not that easy considering everything.

Just trying to remember everything to bring with you can be a challenge you have all your regular things at home even the smallest thing can set you back, like a csn opener lol. Great video Andy! Just as I was thinking that kayak is too close to that fire, you moved it! That thing looks like a possible alternative to a packraft... I never felt comfortable in inflatable vessels, so this might be a thing to try out. Guessing it's heavier but by the looks of it not to bad.
@stippolyte Жыл бұрын
I used a porta bote dinghy (same folding polypropylene construction) back in the 90's, great idea but I didn't inspire me with confidence on anything other than flat water, a seahopper or tinker is much better but then they're much heavier and bulky. If you haven't got anything else, at least it gets you out on the water.

This is the second video I've seen (back-to-back) where you have cooked a rump steak and mentioned it. I've not had a rump steak, but I always look for rump roasts because they have some very good flavor to them. Sometimes, there can be a lot of gristle in them and they can be tough, but I try to take a good look at them to see the ones that are most clear of gristle. It made my mouth water to see you cooking and eating that lovely steak!

Hey! Great to see you out on my patch!! I am a local to this spot and canoe on the river on that stretch very regularly. (Shame I missed you!) I have not camped there yet, so may give it a go later this spring. Fascinating folding kayak. Excellent for lightweight solo trips. I have a Novacraft Trapper 12 in Tuff Stuff which weighs in at 17 kg, which means I can manage it on and off my truck and any portages I need if the canoe passes are closed. 9kg is amazing though! I look forward to seeing more of your trips with it. ⛺🔥🛶🙂
