In this video I describe the construction and operation of the 16-inch diameter folding prop and the nose block assembly of my free flight Smith 1941 Mulvihill Winner model airplane. This is a large "stick and tissue" model that will be powered by a 10 x 1/4 - braided 61-gram rubber motor. It is basically an over-size Gollywock. The rubber motor will probably be wound to at least 40-60 inch-ounces of torque.

Thanks. I have an unfinished folder from Volare ready for an unfinished coup. I’ll refer to this when I’m ready to set it up. Happy holidays -Jeremy

Thanks for putting this video up, I've been looking for some information on KZbin to build a folding prop for a Gollywock for a while! Christmas greetings from Devon UK. Cheers, Marc

Useful, but I would have liked to see the actual construction of the prop. Perhaps if you build another one?
