I usually fold mine with the lid zipped close but the majority of air pushed out of it. Then I twist it so it goes down like a Helix. Until its flat. Then shove it in the little bag and its done

I got a question, does folding it into the carry case leave creases or damage any materials (e.g the zips) when opened again? Also did u leave the top open when you folded it, or was it just to let the air out then you closed it again?

I haven't had anything go wrong with the material or the zippers from folding it up. You can fold it with it open or closed, but definitely make sure you get the air out.
