The promos that cactus done leading upto this match was my favourite of Mick foley and it made it so much better because of these podcasts and learning how much everything truly meant to Mick, It made me feel so much more emotion

Mick's best match. Hunter would never admit it, but Foley made him at the Rumble 2000. HHH in late 99 was not over as champion, it wasnt until the program with Mick that he became legit.

Triple H has openly admitted that those two matches with Mick got him over as a main eventer. It's amazing how many stars Foley has changed people's perception of by putting them over, from Triple H in 2000, Kane in 1997, Rock in 1999, Randy Orton in 2004 and Edge in 2006

I feel the Stephanie alliance really helped too. Those two as the top heels running the company was a great storyline for him. Cemented him as the permanent top storyline and gave him an extra dimension as a hate figure. Agree it was very important he won the royal rumble match. And doing it in such a spectacular way really helped. I can also see why they had a rare heel Wrestlemania win that year too. They made him feel really hard to dislodge. Wonder how his career would’ve gone without the Chyna, Stephanie, Flair valets. Feel they all really helped him.

No. Mania stunk up the stadium both nights last year! THEY STOPPED A CELL MATCH FOR A “CRIMSON TRICKLE” to use Micks coined phrase, that was just the last straw for me with wwe. Can’t support a human trafficking piece of crap like Vince. Windham was the only reason I cared about the product…#Firefly4Life
