Do you have any idea about foliar spray on sugarcane crop . I was thinking if I put some urea in sprayer and spray on sugarcane crop. Please tell me if you have any suggestion

+Sapient Quote In some areas farmers spray zinc sulfate+Urea to sugarcane leaves if it shows deficiency (brown spots). Spraying only urea will result greenish leaves and tall growth of sugarcane. Sugar % will drop. Better to take guidance of some technical people in your area.

Thanks for answering me. I have liquid zinc and 50 kg urea beg can I spray them on sugarcane or I will any special brand. Is it OK to put one gm of urea per liter or if you can tell me how much amount of urea and zinc.

No sir, I will not give any advice. You have to ask your local agriculture technocrat for the same. Because Zinc will be poisonous if used in excess. First you have to see whether your sugarcane has any deficiencies of those nutrients.

Yes. Certainly it works. But better to consult IIHR, Hesaraghatta, Bengaluru to know whether they have fertilizer combination specific for papaya.

The Foliar sprays ! how will this impact when ingested - when banana leaves are cut and used for special functions and people are fed on those banana leaves ! Is it not chemical laced ! and dangerous ?

No one cuts banana leaves from plants of commercial garden. Foliar spray is absorbed in to the leaf in 24 hours. After that even if you eat on the leaf it has no effect! Better eat on steel plates! Let the plant give good bunch of banana!
