I saw Damien Rice in Edinburgh and the guy is incredible. He held the stage, alone, for over two hours and only added some looping effects to build out his sound towards a finale. A proper, talented, songwriter and performer.

His performance is intimidatingly impressive, no doubt. However, I think given the concept of the Folk Circle and the nature of the Funkhaus gathering itself, each one of them performed wonderfully and tied the performance together quite well.

Nice choice by Erlend oye. I find the lyrics by the Moore brothers to be beautiful, but their voices to be rather monotone. Adding delicate vocals like his makes this just beautiful. This is also my favourite version of la professor and filles danse. Better than the original. The added French lyrics are just amazing.

Well if you don't want my character, I suppose that it must be true That I used up all of my tricks and charms That I used when I first met you. Let me tell you that it hurts so bad, hurts so bad, hurts so bad To know that somebody else gets to be new for you. I can never be new for you. I remember making you laugh, And seeing eyes that made me feel the ?on top of the spaceship' high, And I'm scared that I can never do it again, Like somebody pulled the plug from the inside. Hurts so bad, hurts so bad, hurts so bad To know that somebody else gets to be new for you. I can never be new for you.
