I have returned to this video a couple of times. I love folk horror and cannot find enough folk horror book recommendations on youtube. I have read many of these but not all. Thanks for the recommendations.

Thank you so much! Scarfolk is a strange one that's for sure. It's the posters and information leaflets that really unsettle 🖤

Hey Goddess I am in your eternal debt. So glad I watched your newest video. I heard about this great book on the media and I wrote down the title. So of course I went to find the note and it was lost, could not find it for the life of me, could not remember the title . So I described the plot to a couple of friends and booksellers, nothing. So the book is Ghost Walls. I was interested being a of fan of folk horror, ancient history, and historical re enacting . So thank you again so much. Keep up the great work

Ah yes! It's a fab little book isn't it. I was recommended it a few years ago by a librarian, she'd put it aside for me and I loved it. The Dad is a nasty character - such fun! 🖤

I read and loved Devil’s Day. Cunningfolk from Adam Neville might fit well with this list as well.

Thank you so very much! I did consider putting cunning folk on the list, but I hadn't read it yet. But I will certainly add it to my want to read list 🖤

Thank you so much! I really should read the willows and the white people. I know The Bookish Bryant's read some Algernon during Horror Mayhem readathon and loved it. But I will add these to my neverending TBR 🖤

_The Willows_ was more cosmic horror meets survival suspense IMHO but still highly recommend. ✌️
