Notice how the harmonica plays mainly between the vocal lines. Harmonica players take note. Don't blow when the singer is singing!!! Rather, answer the vocal melody. Greatest harmonica!!!!

These days her voice is a shadow of what it used to be but that's just something that happens with age sometimes. That's no slam against her of course, I'd listen to her farting on a snare drum if that's all she was offering. I can't honestly say that she is no longer able to sing like she used to, because I don't honestly know. She likes to sing the old songs differently a lot of the time and they always rework the old ones live anyway. She could simply be keeping things fresh. You never know what you're going to get from an old song when they perform at live from one tour to the next. Either way whether it's age or simple boredom with what's been done already, we'll always have the records to listen to and remember how they made us feel when we first heard them and in subsequent listening sessions.

Margo is a goddess. I saw their live stream last week (March 2017) and they sounded great. Margo's hair is white/silver, but her voice is still golden. They have a small but dedicated audience -- some of their musical moments are transcendent -- including the recent music which is profound and prolific.

I have several of their earlier vinyls, I am so in love with Margo. She is rare and none between. I play her soft slow stuff to help me relax and sleep. Seen them twice, was more than worth the money. My one question, why isn't the stage lite with deep and sultry purple lights ? Lou Reed's stage gives me that added power rush.....!

It's her brother Michael the guitar player and songwriter and his wife who do the China thing, not Margo and her husband. Although I would argue that Margo is most certainly a similarly good-hearted kind person and I'm sure she does lots of good things for people as well. Just not in China teaching English.
