Bonsoir. Mon pére de 88 ans adore ce morceau et souhaiterait qu'il soit interprété pour ses obsèques. Son frère, décédé à l'âge de 47 ans, jouait parfaitement ce morceau à la trompette, je m'en souviens car il avait ressorit sa trompette pour nous l'interprêter. A chaque fois que j'écoute cette mélodie, je pleure, c'est comme ça . Comme si, je ne souhaitais pas que le temps passe. Amitiés à tous

What a superb performance of one of the most beautiful pieces of music that I have ever heard. I fell in love with this instrumental over half a century ago on radio, then had to wait until it was placed on KZbin to hear it again. The original Nini Rossi version had the wonderfully appropriate interlude of Italian speech in it, which I liked very much, even though, knowing only a few Italian words, I had no understanding of what was said.
