Lots to say - it’s important to be noted Luz is remembering her mom’s words harsher than they actually were. She didn’t tell her that she could never come back to Demon Realm but that she should come home and stay. Well, clearly not the right choice in this situation. It's very very understandable and sympathetic that she wants to distract herself by helping someone in a similar situation. Raine is great, their line “I hate those stupid things, waving to people, smiling to people, people ..” is very relatable to neurodivergent people or at least me, I can only speak from my own experience. Also their fight with Eda is truly heartbreaking - how they don’t even remember what they have been through recently. I really like what they did with Kikimora subverging as a villain who is portrayed sympathetic, and humanizing when in reality she is anything but - she is one of those people who sadly exist in real life, who are willing to sacrifice or sell out anything or anyone just to get anything more for herself. At the end when the only thing she gets as a reward is something as petty and small as her life being spared. Terra is a very charming but dangerous character that I like a lot. When she says the Emperor is looking forward to meeting you, what does that even mean? And I just have to mention the joke when Eda is about to say “kiss the Emperor’s butt but stops herself due to King being in earshot - it made me laugh so much.
