“I feel as consistently happy now than I ever have.”

For anybody that stumbles across this and has a question, I'm not on here much, but i WILL answer. In the meantime, it's been over two years and still the best decision ever. it didn't help with dealing with the daily aggravation of life unfortunately, but the main root cause of my depression is gone! And just having that packaged up helps with dealing with everyday life. It's like I'm no longer carrying around 1000lbs of emotional "bricks" anymore

Thanks for your review and experience. The effects from your original dosing treatment are lasting to this day without followup treatments?

@@tytlyf the original source of my depression (abusive step father) has been permanently boxed up. I've been without that anguish for three years and don't see it returning. i am now however probably under the most stress I've ever been in in my life and have signed up for Joyous to help me cope. Basically need something to just help me not flip out on oen of my co-workers or go full rage in traffic, plus I've got a host of family issues going right now, just a REALLY trying time, but i suspect once i get through this year I'll be fine again and be able to quit that as well.

@@mikedavidson8879 Good to hear! I've been looking at all these different programs that seem similar. Mindbloom, Joyous, BetterU, etc. I'm curious about the dosing style. Some are lozenges, nasal spray, IV, etc. I would think the end result of a strong IV drip would have a greater brain healing effect compared to lower dose lozenges? I'll most likely try the nasal spray route with an online therapy provider first.

You are the most real, relatable human I've encountered on KZbin in a very long time. I hope you are doing well. I signed up for MB and am hopeful it will help. Loved the "noticing" of your musical inclinations changing a bit. I've had the same experience over the years as I've become more self-aware. I used to love really emotive sad and depressive music, and I tend to like more upbeat stuff. Take care!

Thank you! Your video helped me decide to do the treatments. I had good results. I liked the feelings I got from the treatments but was worried about doing them because I am a recovering alcoholic. It helped me and I did three sessions and felt that was enough. I still have the medication hidden away and I am waiting for a time when I think I might need it again. It's been almost six months and I have yet to do them. I think that's a good result for me.

This is very helpful and I like your analogy. I think my problem is that a few of my old Tupperware containers are moldy and leaking out and stink so they contaminate the rest of the stuff. I need to dig in there and clean them out! Yay for listening to happier music. I have suffered from depression for most of my adult life and my poor kids have had to deal with me. I’m gonna start Mindbloom in a few days and I really hope it helps. I hope you’re doing better my man.

This gives me hope. I turn fifty in September and have had anxiety/depression for most of my life. The typical male stuff. Relationship with my father. His passing in 2005 due to a car accident. Problems throughout school. ect ect. Plus all of the current stuff we are all going through. Perhaps I will give the therapy a try.

Basically i had an abusive step father and he and his baggage just destroyed my mental health, well into my 40's. thought of ending it all more than i care to admit. and just THREE sessions into the 6, i thought " i don't think i need this anymore" - i learned to compartmentalize all of that trauma and set it aside, and to this day, it's still sitting in the bottom of my mental refrigerator, probably well moldy by now, getting ignored, as it should be!

6 treatments a week apart, 80mg subligual. It's been over a year now and still thrilled!

@@mikedavidson8879 THANK YOU! Sounds about right!! FYI: Spravato thing not working out. Its lower dosed, long and drawn out (like months to a year), its not how people have been describing ketamine results in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. Plus, my sinuses are NOT happy after a couple attempts. I was leaning toward sublingual at home vs IV and u just gave me the info i needed to decide! TY!! 🙏enjoy your better living, see u on the other side real soon! 👍

@@mikedavidson8879 You said 800 mg in the video? Is this a typo here? Just wondering because I've done 400-450 mg for several sessions and it just doesn't seem ike enough. Also troches sublingually through another company BetterU. I've seen some improvement but nothing like what I hear from different testimonials online. Did the company actually tell you to double the dose or did you just decide to do it? Thankyou so much for replying when you get a chance.
