Most aspects of religion are actually cultural.
List of things not mandated by God:
-not cursing
-covering our heads and faces as women
-not listening to rock music
-not being silly as an adult
-not having a sense of humor
-not liking black clothing
-not liking mysterious or spooky things
-using plants as medicine
...and the list could go on forever.
So, why is it that all of these are unacceptable to most 'religious' groups?
Basically, people just got together and decided that those things were heretical and pretended that Creator endorsed them...
I reject all authority except Creator.
You can be how you are and be a believer in Creator...after all, who made you? Creator.
Creator loves your sense of humor and childish hair style and love for spooky stories.
You're acceptable how you are.

I'm so glad I randomly found your channel by trying to look up my old punk/metal music playlist here on KZbin. I actually thought I'd find a playlist of all of my favorite songs I made in 2008. Lol. I never found it, but I was meant to find your enlightening and cozy channel. I'm a work at home mom with chronic illness, a lot of haters, and I am a free spirit. Your message really speaks to me, even if I'm more of a Christian witch (my great grandma was a Cherokee medicine woman of her tribe... she inspired me to heal myself using nature's medicine). Anyways, I wanna say, keep speaking your souls truth! You're so on point. Following culture and society will make you sick, angry and lost. I appreciate your light and nurturing energy.
