Loved Tijuana, Mexico!! Lived in San Diego (3 yr tour w/US Navy w/hubby)! Also grew up in Lakewood, CA and my Dad use to take us to the SD Zoo then to Tijuana to restock his liquor cabinet with Beefeaters Gin for his martinis!!🎉☺️

I cried this morning when I realized you went to Mexico for your surgery then said a prayer for uou...I'm not sure why your son is telling you that you will not be hungry or never gain weight back? I had the VGS as I said previously...yes there are many benefits to weight loss and I do not regret it! It is not the miracle you seem to have been sold. The weight comes off quickly but after the honeymoon phase it is up to you to make healthy choices! It is a Lifestyle change! The longer you have had this surgery the easier it is to regain the weight. I will never stretch my stomach back out because to do so you would have to eat yo the point if vomiting MANY times...one bite over the line still makes me ill! The strange thing is you can eat more junk food without getting sick, do it is up to you to make the right choices...even though they say they cut out the part if your stomach that controls the hunger hormone, you still get hungry...I think the surgery was a great idea but had you let us know ahead of time, I feel your fans could have offered great advice...I watched a 100 videos to hear different opinions and experiences before making my decision...I feel I was prepared to what really happens! What is done is done...I hope your journey is a pleasent one and you love the results! Medicare with an advantage plan does cover weight loss surgery! I wish someone would have told you that! If there is a complication, traveling back and forth to Mexico could get expensive...surgeons do not like to fix other surgeons mistakes...because they do not know what actually happened in the operating room. It's just a fact...so glad you made it through and you are beautiful at any size!

Angela. I do hope you’re doing well🙏. If I may ask, why on Earth would you go to another Country to have any kind of surgery? I would never trust anyone but the us surgeons. I don’t care if it’s expensive here to have it done I’d just save up all of my money for it if I wanted it bad enough. I don’t care pray you don’t have complications cause I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about women going to other countries for tummy tucks or even face lifts or even boob jobs also. WOW!! Because she would not have gone otherwise, I'm sure Jamie funded all three of them to go. Trevor and his wife, reaping the perks in a free and fully funded vacation trip to Tijuana, Mexico. I can think of a hell of a lot more practical and smart ways to spend that money, but I will just pretend this way of thinking/living is normal and laugh along and stay in my own lane here.
