TBT: In search of the perfect wave, South African surfers Slade Prestwich, Frank Solomon and Grant 'Twiggy' Baker set out on an adventure in 2016 to Africa's most isolated country Madagascar, to map, navigate and find their own piece of blue-water paradise perfect for surfing. Starting the journey on Saint Marie Island they head off into the unknown to see what they could find.

I know two guys who surfed Madagadar in 1978. Both Australians. It was part of the Hippie trail frm bali, Thailand, Idia ( Goa) ,Madagascar, England and Europe ( South Afrca also).

Hi lads, Definitely enjoyed your little adventure ! Mr D coming with a title unstoppable you sure was going to be fronted by a Capt. Imposible...... Mr baker I missed you in Lima allthough Ronald and Rodolfo told me about you and i understood right there you are a cool cat: so thank you for inviting me to this malagasy discovery on the east coast Prestovich is killing it but that was his size! I looked and got waves all over that magic island and it was though mind you,but one or two of the trips of a lifetime!
