@RobertColyer-co1nu right, I thought we need to know who we give authority to and if they have any issues we need to fix them before they get bigger. And lets talk cameras on public buildings. Most of their cameras are in plain sight and want to use "Security Purposes" as an excuse. They ask for private business's footage when investigating but I can't request footage that pertains to me from a PUBLICLY FUNDED BUILDING that I pay for. 🤦 may only be .05 cents but it's still MY 5 cents! I want my 5 cents to be worth it and it doesn't seem to be that way. 😕

@@CrispyBaconPress I'm a veteran after a appointment I had time before the bus came so I started taking videos and pictures of Government Vehicles I was approached by three VA police officers. Sergeant asked what I was doing I told him taking videos and pictures of the vehicles the he asked for Id of course I refused. Not once did he have any RAS . Long story short..er they put me in handcuffs searched and detained me for over 40 minutes, they let me go without ever knowing my name Can't get a copy of incident report or FOIA request . It's like a cover up.

Trooper Eric Scott was an excellent example of police professionalism, unfortunately officer Banuelos, sat to his left was the perfect example of everything that is wrong with police officers who are rude, condescending, disrespectful, arrogant, ignorant and unable to engage in dialogue because they want to talk all the time and behave like a child. This looked even worse because he was working alongside the professional officer Scott who behaved impeccably, and officer Banuelos is a liability with his disgusting attitude. Your interaction with Trooper Bookout on your second visit was of the same professional standard as that of Trooper Scott on the original visit, and both Troopers were a credit to the department, which was sadly not the case with officer Banuelos who was a total disgrace.

Glad that you filed a complaint. Wish you had also filed a commendation (a letter of praise) for officer Scott. Other than blowing bubbles with his chewing gum (03:09), he was professional and helpful. You should’ve given him official props with the department. And, for future reference, if you’re doing a records request, show up with the exact date and location of the incident involved. That information will help the cops help you. As the Boy Scouts say, “Be prepared.” Keep up the good work.
