non-effect monsters especially classic ones are very undersupported. I feel like something like regular Black Luster Soldier, Magician of Black Chaos, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon etc are iconic enough that they deserve bonus benefits from certain support cards. Even Gate Guardian and Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon got shafted by their own archetype. Sure, you can say no fusion monsters besides Twin-Headed exist for Thunder Dragon archetype but the damage is already done. The best I can say is at least through a new support card, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is still worth using in fun decks to summon Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon. I don't know what can be done for non-effect Ritual Monsters to make them worthwhile. I think a non-negatable spell that just Ritual Summon them from the deck or hand by discarding extra deck monsters would be an option and maybe giving them certain additional benefits depending on their levels or stats. The number of support cards should be minimal too so you don't rely too much on having specific cards to get the deck going. I think that killed off a lot of normal monster decks.

Considering mechanics like Pendulum, there really should be more utilization of workarounds.

While I doubt GX Season 4 dub will ever happen it is indeed certainly possible. Look at Samurai Jack. That show came back after more than 10 years to finish its story.

Oh no, not that one! I am a big fan of Primal, but the adult swim Samurai Jack is just not my cup of tea.
