I was checking this out on Amazon and was curious if you still recommend it now that youve had it for 2 years. And if not, any alternatives that you know of?
@LAFWithJeffe Жыл бұрын
Hi there @Mudb3rt , it’s been two years and yes I still recommend it. Now if budget wasn’t an issue and you want to get serious, there’s the Dr. Dish Home ( www.drdishbasketball.com/home/order?hsCtaTracking=df7dd6b7-9832-474d-891f-f0d9134de85a%7C6a6908a5-6fa5-4300-b2e9-a7c2da9b4d47 ) but for the price and just messing around at home, the iC3 is great. Hope this helps.

It mentions that the ic3 shot trainer won't work on rims with crossbars on the back of the rim. It doesn't look like it's an issue with your Spalding portable hoop. Did it fit without any issues?
@LAFWithJeffe Жыл бұрын
Hi there, yes, it fits with no issues 👍🏽

Thanks for the review. I had a few questions. How quick and easily does it breakdown and install? Have you tried it with two balls or is it too fast to keep up with?
@LAFWithJeffe Жыл бұрын
It’s pretty quick to take down, now that’s it’s been worn and torn for a while the poles need some force or lubricant to shorten them when I put it away. Have tried it with 2 basketballs and it was fast but still manageable.

Costco is selling a Spalding 54" hoop for $230 with the hydraulic lift, but the pole is not slanted like this one. The slanted pole is still $220 picked up at my local Walmart. Decisions, decisions. Have you had any issues with the ball bouncing over and into your neighbor's yard?
@LAFWithJeffe3 жыл бұрын
Hi there @e0529 , if you plan on adjusting height a lot (which I do with the kids) the easier lift would be the game changer for me. So far no issues with it going to neighbors yard since the boys use it at the lowest height and I use the iC3 most of the time when it’s up. Thank you for checking out video.

Is there a way to lower the front part of the net so that smaller kids can use it? Will it work with the Spalding 60" Beast?
@LAFWithJeffe3 жыл бұрын
Hi there @gvelez389 , There is no option to lower front part of net unfortunately as that would something my youngest kid needs 😁 and it would work with a 60" Backboard (mines a 54" and its perfect).

Do you keep your IC3 outside? If so, any issues with rust?
@LAFWithJeffe3 жыл бұрын
Good day @Mike Park, yes I keep it out, so far no visible rust except a little on pole brace joint and 4 rings on top where the carabiner attach to.

What kind of basketball hoop is that? Where did you get it?
@LAFWithJeffe3 жыл бұрын
Hi @Matt Bloch, got it at a local Walmart, Here’s the link online: www.walmart.com/ip/Spalding-54-Shatter-proof-Polycarbonate-Exactaheight-Portable-Basketball-Hoop/834343104
