Sometimes the Sharks have a real number in their head for what they want. For instance, let's say the entrepreneur wants $300k for 15%. The shark will offer $300k for 30% and then when the entrepreneur says $300k for 25% (That is the actual amount the investor wanted all along). But if the shark said 25%, then the entrepreneur will say 20%.

They really should have several different lines. 1) the Rookie - just the net with a guided net sending the ball to you for like $50 (or what ever you can get it at) 2) the Pro - What's pictured here. (but make this the highest margin) 2) the All-Star - which has more going on with it (some detection software that adjusts to you as you move around the court, and something that keeps track of makes and misses) have that for like $6k

@@shac9131 as a basketball player i don't feel like this is a part of the training or grind. If anything it takes alot more time and energy. A shooting machine also helps simulate actual in game situations such as catch and shooting the ball off a pass. Theres millions of kids who want to play professional basketball. The separator is yes the natural talent but the hard work put in too. If i shoot 1000 shots a day and someone else is shooting less then me i'm more likely to have a better chance at scoring then the other person. If i work harder then one and have talent then im more likely to do more well. Chasing rebounds takes time off the 500-1000 shots made method. I dont really know how to explain it anymore simpler as im trying to explain it as less complex i can. Thank you.

I don’t believe you. For all I know you could be a jealous hater. “I’m going to be 100% with y’all.” was not enough to convince me like other people. Maybe put a KZbin review on your channel if what you say is true. Warning to other people and that goes for any shark tank video, people lie in these comments all the time.

I’ve been wanting a product like this for a long time. I always wanted to buy one of those pro machines, but like the guy said you had to plug it in somewhere and there was no way to transport it anywhere. You had to have full-time access to an indoor court to make it worthwhile. I think this product needs some significant improvements, but I like the direction it’s going

Good for him. I would accept it too. 50k is nothing compared to having 2 sharks as your partners. Barbara is right, it looks ugly. While it doesn't matter to actual players, you lose style points for the promotions. Some people would buy a product just because it fits their style. And I'm sure Mark's team knows how to keep the production costs low. He'd get back the 50k in no time.

Barbara lucked out here. It's a decent product that has a bad manufacturing cost and price point but a lot of potential. These deals hardly ever get to her because Lori or Mark get consumer products alone. She put herself out there as going half to mitigate risk and that's how she got Mark.

When I was watching this it was crazy to hear the sharks think the $1500 for it was expensive when they’re worth millions if not billions i’m not worth much just a middle-class guy and I spent over 2000 on my daughters pitching machine don’t get me started on her bats and other gear. Most parents spend whatever on their kids sports . 1500 is really cheap

Shit I wouldve said yes to 50% too. With Mark on his side he can scale this into a multi million dollar business in a much shorter time than if he did it without his help. He still couldve done it but who knows how long it wouldve took. But thats only with Mark, no other shark. The fact that he got TWO of them for 25%, dude is the shark here.

I hope someone from grind sees this, if you made a portable one for quarterbacks and baseball players. With baseball players you could expand to being able to load a hopper and get some batting practice. If there already exists, then good for them, if it doesn't I hope they see this. I know it's been out for awhile but if this but my first time seeing this.

I kinda like having to go retrieve the ball. It’s cardio. All that jogging adds up. Plus: Free throwing isn’t like darts IMO - you can’t just be standing there “in the zone.” Your _whole_ _body_ needs to be pumping.
