Achieving a dream is like chasing a dollar on a fishing pole. Our dreams, our ambitions, our goals change. They matastiaize in realtime through out our entire lives. we always want more, it's never enough, we are never satisfied. Achieving a dream is the antithasis of what the human experience is all about. We very very rarely hit that mark, because we are constantly moving the limbo bar. Having a goal, a dream is an amazing thing if you have one, and stopping at nothing to chase it takes a very intrepid state of mind and person, but just doing, just trying, is just as important, and just as rewarding and worth just as much. Achieving dreams take more that ambition and brute will, it takes luck, connections, geographical location. There are so many other factors. If you achieve your dream, you won't spend your time appreciating the achievement, you'll spend your time appreciating the blood, sweat and tears that went into getting you there. The doing, at least for me, at the end of the day, is more important than the big payoff.

Dear Casey: This is hands down one of my favorite videos by you. I know you have a ton of other great movies with incredible shots of amazing scenery and you just have the greatest times with your family and you just simply enjoying the one chance we all get to live this thing we call life, but this one just hits home soooo hard. If you couldn't already tell by my picture, I too, happen to be one of the possessed currently in pursuit of chasing my dream of being a rockstar. Playing this show where I had all my closest friends and family, and even a bunch of new people who came to check us out, cheering us on and going crazy and singing our songs as well made me realize even more how much I want this. Since I was a kid, I always wanted to become a fighter pilot. And so during 20 years, all I did was working toward my dream as I knew it was extremely hard to become a fighter pilot. About 1 month ago, after having successfully passed the selection tests in late 2015, I was informed that I had been accepted in the air force and would begin the pilot training. However, there was one last step standing between my dream and I. The medical admission exam. I soon realized that step was more like a concrete wall as I learned I had failed the eye test because of a small myopia. 20 years of hard work, motivation and determination blown to smithereens right at moment, when the ophthalmologist said the coldest words I ever heard "you will never be a fighter pilot". The hardest part in this story is that I will have to live my entire life knowing my one and only true dream will always be behind me because of something I have no control over. It has been 2 weeks since then and I still have no clue of what I will do next. How am I supposed to enjoy life when I have nothing to motivate me anymore? Thanks for reading...

You don't know how much I needed this, Casey! When I was 18 I left home and moved to Long Island. I've always wanted to live in New York and I figured working on LI would be a good stepping stone to Manhattan, which I am now moving to at the end of June. My family doesn't get it, they don't get why I'm trying my hardest to move to the city. The career I want and the goals that I have cannot be obtained where I'm from. It's so hard to convince them and to make them see and get where I'm coming from. Always love to watch Casey when motivation is needed! My dream is to be a film maker, I always get told it's one in a million, or you won't earn much money, etc. I ignore that!!! I'm never going to give up no matter how much i'll struggle and how many tears I shed for this dream!!! This is my everything and it is who I am as a person. I commit film making to most of my life now as a part of school and I must say I am happier than I was a year ago when I was lost! Casey thank you for being an amazing inspiration every single day!
