Well, here she is, the second part of our Beasts of Bermuda adventure. And this is a survival game, after all, so what better way to end the journey than with some bloodshed?

They're planning on replacing the gore spawns with actual ai, so don't worry those won't be a thing forever. And as someone who's followed this game for a long time, they've improved so much that despite The Isle still looking better graphically at this moment in time, I have very high hopes for the future of Beasts of Bermuda. It helps that they went right into designing interesting mechanics that The Isle still and maybe won't ever have, and it makes an otherwise unpolished game very enjoyable to play, especially with friends.

Crystals don't increase growth. They increase bias, which improves your comfort levels which enable you to grow better. To make sure to get the maximum growth per tick, your food and water should be full, and your comfort at 100. Hope this helps!

I actually love BOB more than than the isle atm. It’s the skins and skill tree systems that does it for me. Plus I managed to find a really awesome server with incredible admins with its own discord community. Everybody is super nice there. Makes the game super enjoyable. For anyone wanting to know the server it’s The Forgotten Realms. Megs are super fun to play and it is my favourite BOB dino. They actually get the community to make skins and import the highest voted ones in the game with credit to the artist in the skin select screen. The devs give consistent community updates for progress and work on outdated individual models when they feel they aren’t their best work anymore. The graphics might not be the same as the the isle but I think it’s more a stylistic choice over one of complete realism. They still look nice. I hope you continue to have a fun experience with BOB pesky! Edit: The names of the admins gave it away the server I mentioned is the server they’re playing on ^-^

Spinosaurids got brought up, so as someone who's writing a paper on the subject: There are two "lines" of Spinosaurs. Baryonychinae Baryonyx (England) Suchomimus (North Africa) Spinosaurinae Spinosaurus (North Africa) Oxalaia (North South America) Irritator (Brazil) Ichthyovenator (Southeast Asia) Vallibonavenatrix (Spain) The Spinosaurinae are more aquatic than the Baryonychinae, with Spinosaurus being the extreme example. They're a super interesting group, compared to most dinosaurs. I'd sum them up as a gymnest Allosaurus meets a Grizzly Bear meets a Gharial. Absolutely terrifying, even with the smallest one (Baryonyx). There are more that I haven't mentioned, but most of them are known from extremely fragmentary remains, if not just their teeth. Going back to BoB for a minute, their depiction of an Ichthy is great, minus the whole darting mechanic. Most of their dinos are really accurate, actually, and even when they aren't, they're almost all super fun to play.

Nice gameplay! Kinda funny to watch you flee from an admin who's not allowed to attack you I'll admit haha If you ask around you could probably get nested in by some of the players! This allows you to get better dinos but also comes with a 10 minute waiting time in the egg (which i personally don't like, i usually AFK through it) and having to grow from hatchling instead of Juvie like in TI. Most parents are willing to teach you the specifics of their dino species, at least on that server Just an FYI tho a lot of the things that you see both in TI and BoB are the same because they're marketplace assets. Things such as ferns, some animations and SFX, etc. are store-bought. Really hoping they get replaced someday :3

I actually like this game’s Rex roar. The current Isle Rex roar is a lot more unique though and has an awesome way to radiate into an environment with an ominous effect. I also like the Isle’s almost slender Rex. Chonk Rexes usually suck unlike Primal Carnage’s which is extra badass.

I pretty much will think of a song from a videogame, anime, movie, or fanmade remix that I’ve heard before and have grown a liking to. Then I go to KZbin, record the audio, and then insert the audio into the editor at the time when I want the music to play. I’ve used fanmade remixes before but only when the creator of them specifically states that others can use the remix for a gameplay video. As for other songs from videogames and anime, I just use my best judgement as to what will get copyrighted and what won’t. For instance, diddy kong racing, JPOG, and paraworld soundtracks do not get copyrighted since they are all old games with virtually no way a company could profit off of them. As for when I want to use anime soundtracks I have to be careful, but some tracks, for instance certain dragonball tracks, do not get copyrighted either.

Except its a toss up in terms of personality You've got the genuinely nice ones, that might get close to look at your babies, or say hi The cocky ones that divebomb everything and bite The absolute jackasses who grab your baby, fly it up, and drop it over land I met one once who put me up on a rock spire kinda thing when i was a baby apato (i had spawned in without a herd due to having a power outage earlier) and then protected me when other pteras tried to kill me He even brought me food, and brought me to water now and again. Basically, we continued that until he couldnt pick me up anymore, and by that time, i wasn't so helpless. And he made sure to leave me with a herd too! I havent met my guardian angel since, unfortunately

One of the few reasons I honestly despise the BoB playerbase is because of the abusive mindset groups of them have. It's not a game someone can just pick up and play. If you don't have friends communicating with you as several different species coordinating so that you survive to be the biggest and rule the server, you're not going to get past 1.4 in size and you'll be extremely fucking lucky if you even get to that size.

Hey pesky, you should play Walking with Dinosaurs Isle server, it has pretty strict realism rules but i think it's a pretty good server, because it feels SO GOOD to be realistic and no killer isla nycta rexes everywhere, you should read the rules and the profiles, and you should be okay. Just a little tip, keep up the good stuff dude.

Actually that’s not entirely true, there are 0 tyrannosaurids to have been discovered with feathers, all we have is scale impressions. The only relatives with feathers are from the much wider group named tyrannosaroids which included yutyrannus guanlong and all those but tyrannosaurids themself most likely didn’t posses feathers, especially tyrannosaurus itself, we have scale impressions for trex from literally every part of the body.
