Harstem has a really good attitude towards grubby's tough love style of coaching
@omiske8 сағат бұрын
As a pro to a pro. I think Grubby understands that Harstem wants that kind of knowledge and that he can handle the criticism. I think Harstem would rather have that tough love versus a slow progression of knowledge. I admire the competitive part of these kinds of players and the knowledge that the experts have in their game and field.

This is not tough love, he jsut leaving out all the asspatting that people who teach normally do

harstem had a few vids coaching reynor on toss and offers the same tough love style. I think pros understand that coddling is for babies who don't want to improve and being direct is the best method.

I haven't played in 10+ years but I enjoy watching a good game even now. I was a terrible player lol but I didn't even know the depth of the nuances of the game until I watch this video of mentorship by the man Grubby. I just thought base layout were kind of just putting them close by and walling of to protect the workers, honestly the explanation blows my mind and realise every single decision in the game is not random or only by being responsive to enemies actions as I thought. Great vid!

I don't know how much I would learn by being coached during a live game, I think I would find it too distracting and I would rely on it too much to think for myself and remember my practice. Still very educational to watch though. I only wish something like this existed for undead.

I love the way Grubby coaches. I wish my coach had this style of teaching on my previous coaching sessions. Grubby has a well thought out procedure and his methods are extremely effective even though he typically doesn't offer coaching. I would pay for this without hesitation, this is golden.

Start of the game, Grubby: "I'm going to stay quiet and take notes we can go over after the game." 4 minutes into the game, Grubby: "Go here; don't do that; mess with him; remake grunt; creep the camp; (...) He threw the game!" 🤣

Last opponent even tried to hex a bay but hexed a poor bird critter next to a bat. That would save a windrider and even more dps thus ending the fight earlier

the supply of the opposing army at 39:14 feels astounding considering there is an expo behind it. Astonishing the opponent didn't even have brute strength on grunts either.
