It's a shame that Grubby decided not to compete even in minor tournaments such as W3C. From a viewer's point of view, I'd love to see him become the best orc again. But competitive gaming is very stressful (look up ex-pro players who had to quite due to health issues), and there's no point if he just enjoys streaming and makes a good living from it. Kind of disappointing from a selfish perspective, but at the same time I fully respect your decision. You'll always be The King of Orcs :)

On the other hand, we will get more streamed games and see more videos on youtube as well as getting more tutorials. I too would love to see some tournament games but it's great that Grubby will make content like this instead.

@@POINTS2 Yes, I'm very happy that he didn't decide to leave the game entirely. This is much better and I respect his decision. It would certainly be nice to see him complete, but I am the same way as him, this seems like a healthier choice given the circumstances.

idk if I missed this change in undead meta, but it's very interesting to me how this UD player uses CL opening to build UD economy and so be able to invest heavily on casters and combine with pit lord, despite of not using skeletons. Lots of debuffs, buffs, even possession...

what makes this game even more amazing is that roughly around the same time (i.e. the surrounding 2-3 days), Grubby again had a very similar game, AGAIN with TGW, where HE AGAIN went for some weird Pitlord + casters build.

High level Orc heroes can carry! Tbf, the other guy didn't have a ton of fire power late game either. PL was decent in the bigger fights, but proved to be a liability later. Grubby probably loses that if it's a Lich spamming w/ him Nova... cheers mate

This was a new season, so it was probably just his first game. Grubby was only 6-0... I don't think it's even possible to block your record from displaying on W3C.

wtf moments: 21:13 - Crypt lord has anti magic shell on still gets bombarded by spells... 27:00 - The spirit walker dispel - he used mana even though he got stunned and not dispelling the spell (this one is just an unfortunate moment)

That's the banshee Anti-magic which only blocks damage but doesn't make you immune to effects. It looks the same as the night elf potion which does make you immune to effects.

@@johnr598 Yeah, I think that could use a bit of a nerf. Absorbing 300 magic dmg is absurdly high IMO. This means they literally don't lose _any_ HP from a caster attacking them while it's still active.

CL not as good third hero, since he's only good vs land units, not air. And early late game, you're better off using shop heroes, like dr, naga, pit lord, Panda, etc. For late late game, dread lord and infernal is too strong.

@@ex0duzz That isn't really an issue since air is rarely seen in this game. DL would've been a mistake for his army comp, and you're never going to get your third hero to lvl 6 at Grubby's level lol. PS, CL was 1st in this game. He's totally fine as the carry.

To be fair orcs are underpowered at tier 3. Every race gets a powerful melee hell elf may even have a better melee than orcs. Humans are untouchable if MK has a lvl 3 bolt and 4 knights. Undead doesn’t really need abos since at tier one they have a tier 2 unit (crypt fiends) with high DPS, utility and versatility providing them with an easy ride from the get go.

Orc's best chance is a deadly triple hero combo, like we saw here! But you are massively underestimating Tauren! They're easily the best ground unit in the game. Problem is that Banshees are probably their best counter... :( I was wondering if he would get Bloodlust eventually, since there were never many Destroyers... but he never really had the time/resources to do more than what he did here.

Orcs are a hero race massive CC what I am doubting is their tier 3 unit is beyond outclassed by other races first 3. It’d be nice if their less useful units such as Demolishers would get a buff as well their wind riders. Imagen demos on fortified armor and/or using the spike upgrades.

​@@4thdawn376 I'd like to see a buff to Heal Wards. Increase their range and buff hp to 50. Also an item in the shop to rejuvenate mana for their units (casters) -- even if it's not great -- _something_ would be nice. I think HU has the best late-late game army. Orc isn't bad though, because Heroes are so damn important. And Bloodlust is a good spell, Berserkers are really cost-efficient units, Spirit Link is possibly the best defensive spell in the game. Walkers have tons of mana and are really good at dispel. Tauren revive is borderline OP. Kodo War Drums is also really good. When you combine Endurance, Bloodlust, and Drums -- you get a really intimidating army -- especially on a high level Blade. Heal Wave is the best healing spell in the game. It's not like we are without options. Besides, air is near useless in this game. I'd MUCH rather have the best ground unit and the worst air, than the other way around. Plus Bats are amazing AA. -- Spikes on Demos sounds like a pretty neat idea. But they only have 300hp and 2 armor -- I honestly don't think it would make much of a difference. And Fortified would be cool, but it just doesn't fit the unit. Tanks are the only fortified siege unit in the game, which makes sense when you think about a "siege engine," you know? Cheers mate

Healing and stun traps used to have 100 HO and bigger radius. As per the item to provide mana regeneration that would be nice since Humans have brilliance aura, elf moon wells, undead stats and orcs have nothing and once orcs have no mana are easy prey. Demolishers use to have if I’m not mistaken 450 HP and had more armor. Honestly I want spikes to be useful in battle since they are so fragile unit combined with fortified armor it would be the utility unit that orcs lack. As for walkers reviving Taurens it is super slow and super late game. In 4vs4 you end up feeding exp to the opponents in 1vs1 not as useful as you think since there is no way for casters to gain faster mana like the other races. As for air bats do kick ass in 4 vs 4 if you go solo panda. But wind Ryders do need a buff or simply make them a 3 food unit.

​@@4thdawn376 I thought it was 200hp for Healing Wards in the campaign, and maybe even in RoC? But I can't recall 100% -- and I don't ever remember them being 100hp -- but could certainly be wrong. I get that 200hp is too much, but 5hp... c'mon lol. Yeah, Orcs w/o mana = gg. =( Oof, I need to correct myself. IDK where I got 300hp on Demos from -- it is actually 425hp. Their dmg has gotten nerfed twice too. What do you mean by utility unit? In 4v4, I wouldn't go Tauren. HH, Kodo, and casters for sure. Maybe some Demos too. But balance is all about 1v1 anyways. Tauren are pretty damn useful in 1v1 -- often times a game-winning unit. Walkers have 600 mana and super fast regen. So if you have 3-4 Tauren, you're gonna want 3-4 Walkers too. Then mana won't be an issue. They have the least mana issues in my experience. Shaman are where not having a mana rejuvenation item _really_ hurts. Especially against Elf, if they have a Demon / Wisps. I think making Wyvren a 3 food unit would potentially be game-breaking. Their one-shot potential, especially w/ Venom is sick. I'm more in favor of giving them another T3 upgrade that would increase hp by 100 for 100g and 150w. Or you could give them a Berserker-like ability. FWIW, I've been experimenting w/ them recently and they are _so close_ to being _really good_ (at least in 1v1). I've seen a bunch of ppl mention this buff to make them a 3 food unit, and I have to ask, where did this come from? You can currently get 7 of them at 50 food (w/ 2 heroes and 7 on lumber). If they were a 3 food unit, then you could get 9 under 50 food. Just seems like that would be too much firepower, IMO... but who knows, that's just my take on it. Cheers
