True, curse is very strong. But so is slow, bloodlust and faerie fire. But there's a counter to all that, it's called dispel. It takes only one disenchant to remove curse from a quite large area (more than 5 units if you get them together). If you don't dispel, then it's your fault.

But that's how it works, in the end the game was very close, Grubby played very good in the start and mid game, but made some mistakes late game. Not having shop was a huge problem, but I think the main mistake was focusing the lich while dk had a lot of mana to heal and also lich had invul. Maybe focusing dk would have a different ending.

i agree. Grubby rebuild the tauren totem very fast - but did not so with the shop. Some extra heal/manapots for bm/Sh would have been great last fight. If he sees this attack and knows he will not be back in time, he might send 1 peon a little bit outside of his base to rebuild a shop even before the 1st one gets kicked. Just an idea...i am not a pro player at all...but may be this would have give him more flexibility last fight.

2 big mistakes: no scout before creeping the island and No shop Intense game Ps:does the opponent see your units when cursed or was that only the case with tailors? Didn't play in ages

Super close. I counted 36 missed BM attacks in that fight. That is somewhere in between 1800 and 7700 missed damage. But it was hard to keep track and I saw BM only 3/4 of the fight. BM is your main source of damage, that hurt a lot. Maybe Mirror Image could solve this? If you had built a shop in the back earlier, you would have outlasted that fight easily. This time you focused statues, which was a good choice I feel. You get closer.

Fel Stalker dying so quick was also bad. If it hadn't been summoned in the midst of enemies and gotten a Spirit Link+heals, it would have drained out the DK and forced Happy back.

Notice me, master @Grubby Huge bow for that game! Intense, exciting, nerve wrecker, nail biter, next level. I understand how insane that might sound, but I am watching this replay for the 15th time the least.. Just thought I might share my thoughts on something crucial that could have changed the outcome of the game. ***Disclaimer - I am not saying I can do that better than the master, just some opinion : ) 14:50 - the idle time of the zeppelin + 15:10-15:21 - idle units in the zep + 15:23 - whatever that unload-load was :D + 15:37 - wouldnt an unload in your base work out for the better? Totally its between 35 and 55 seconds loss of time, which seemed crucial, losing the baracks and the beastiary meanwhile. Apart from that (which bothered me day and night for almost 3 months or so and I had to do this comment), the fight was flawless. I stress on flawless! Just the missing production, while he had constant reinforments made it impossible.. Hail Master Grubby!

i fight against grubby in 2-2 longggg time ago when it was only Frozen throne . I was with my friend ( 2 UD) and he was Orc of course with his friend Human . I remember very well cause we make mass gouls and they destroy us with only their héroes (Archimage and Tauren chief :)) ? Think he got the 4K Clan at this moment

Yes -- some spawn locations, you will have slow peons until you have all 5 peons on mine. If you control peons and help move them, you get more gold early on.

Kodos kinda really suck because devour is ridiculously hard to ever land a hit. They have zero defense so they loose half their health before they even miss the devour then you need the speed scroll to run away before dying. I wish kodos weren’t hot garbage.
