I use a lot of John's ideas myself of course they always come out different you really can't replicate anybody's art but it's nice to have someone to give you these ideas and you could pull from that but my problem is I use heavy paint in the tube or I'll use your tube liquitex that's not as heavy but he Blends so well I've tried so many brushes am I supposed to be adding water to a dip my brush and more I mean how is that blending taking place that fine blending

Yeah John Beckly makes one of the best paintings out there! Even though I haven’t seen all other artists paintings in my opinion he is second best next to Bob Ross until I change my mind in the future! 😁🎨🖌🖼

Take it easy; JB very clearly states that he's got 10 yrs experience behind him; it does not come easy those 'free-form arcs', you have to practise and know how far to lose control. Don't cry; enjoy the moment, and try again. Remember, you got years to be good at this, and to be yourself while you're doing it.

Nice work! Can really see a hint of John with your own spin, love it. If you want more blend for the background use more paint and keep it moist with water spray as you work. It is likely John adds a medium and/or water to the paint to make it runnier at times. But definately for this type of background spray bottle and more paint or slightly watered paint will do the trick for you, don't be afraid to slap it on! I look forward to seeing your next

@thomaskreisel57643 жыл бұрын
Today I finished my first "Beckley" and it turned out very well. But there are some problems I have. There always gets a little bit of paint under the duct tape. I dont know why. Ive done it pretty much like in this video but my edges arent as clean as hers. And when I paint over another colour, I have to repeat this process a dozen times, because if not you still can see the other paint shining through. And the paint takes so long to dry. Has somebody a helpful advice for me please? Would be amazing🙏😊❤

@carolynmeuer-pickering23614 жыл бұрын
Nobody wants to tell you what the brush is that they use. It must be a magical brush for sure... I have asked several artists that do the beautiful 'airbrush' look blending, none are talking. :(
@user-bh3bq5ej7n4 жыл бұрын
@@carolynmeuer-pickering2361 freestyle or paddle brushes seem to be the most common I've seen to blend acrylics. Using open medium will help make the acrylic not dry as quickly and help the blends become more fluid. This lady did a great job. If you've watched Beckley, a lot of the time he's also using a good deal of paint too. Open acrylic blending = folding a sheet, regular acrylics blending = folding a fitted sheet.
