Whenever i watch a tutorial, I think "Omg if Soph curled her lashes they would look stunning!!!". Its the only thing I do every day apart from SPF and cant imagine wearing mascara without curling them. Plus it only takes like 20 extra seconds, and the results are Amazing. For a natural look, I use a grey/brown eyeshadow to fill in my brows and wet as a liner for a smudgy natural everyday look. Also my lipstick (if its satin) as blush has always worked well for me. Using like 4 products for my whole face; foundation as foundation and dabbed as concealer, lipstick on lips and cheeks, grey shadow for brows and liner and mascara. I have them in a tiny makeup bag I take everywhere and in 5 minutes can complete a natural daytime look, or even use the mascara as liner for a nightime look. If im feel adventurous, bronzer as eyeshadow and bronzer too. I love makeup and watching you review new products, but cant justify spending my cash on hundreds of products which look the same on me as my 5 minute face 😉

My beauty tip would be; When you've applied your foundation, use a setting mist (whether it's a luminous one or a mattifying one) and then use a clean beauty blender and tap it all over your face to push the setting spray into your skin. It really helps to minimize any texture. 💕

I just wanted to share something with you that should make you feel happy just as it does for me. I’ve been watching your channel religiously since March of ‘21 EVERYDAY !!! I’m a proud American who is New York born, and now resides in the great state of Florida. And for all intents and purposes our family business is The USMC & NYPD Law enforcement, of which we were incredibly grateful to have our son return home from Afghanistan when there was a time we thought he wouldn’t. W/all that said, I just wanted to thank you for having your channel, bcuz it’s been an absolute , and wonderful lifesaver for me. Your natural gift to make people laugh , especially when people like me are dealing with the most difficult of life challenges , but also issues as an American living with unprecedented unrest , and uncertainty in our beautiful nation. YOU offer me a chance to step away for approximately 10-25 minutes (sometimes several x’s a day) from the anxiety & stress , that can sometimes lean leaving one ultimately depressed. And, as we Americans go onward and upward, but only further into unrest , and uncertainty, it’s an absolute blessing for ME to know I can always go to any of your videos with the guarantee your going to make me smile, and sometimes literally laugh out loud 😁👍👏!!! Aside from the fact you have so much talent , and ability with all things makeup and lifestyle, but you deliver it in such a fabulous way. I’ve got specific influencers for specific things, but when it comes to your channel I know confidently I’m going to walk away a thousand percent happier than only minutes before😊☺️!!!!! This is just my opinion, but the “influencer community” needs to be reminded, that what they say , share , and the delivery in which they deliver it has a huge impact on the subscribers on the other side of the screen. Me personally 🤔?…. I prefer influencers not to insert random complaining ,whining , and ultimately become so long winded with their elitist conceded opinions 🙄. Nowadays, I’ve unsubscribe from them, and only check their channel if they’re demonstrating a new makeup release, BUT once I sense it’s going in the “all about me” direction …well, you know what happens next 🤣. So , there needs to be a time when people like you continue to stay genuine and true to themselves , that should be recognized and praised for all that you give people like me each time CONSISTENTLY 👌👏!!! Please, don’t ever change Soph, because you make my life , and my world , brighter and happier , and if I didn’t mention it earlier, let me just give you a million thanks, and continued gratitude. You make my days so better from across the pond 🥰❤️♥️😁!!!!

*Makeup Tips💄* -use 2 types of concealers: a light concealer under the eye & a high coverage concealer in the inner corner of the eye. the thinner the layer, the better -only apply talc powder to the eyelids (no silica-based powder because it makes eyeshadows slip on top of it) -to avoid creasing: after moisturizing under-eyes, take a very small amount of an eyeshadow primer (Urban Decay) and apply the primer by *tapping* it. Then wait for 5-10 minutes before applying concealer.

I have orange hair so I use brown mascaras only! I use the ones from a brand called “Just for Redheads” - I don’t ever wear foundation or any base, so I’m not sure if they smudge but they work wonders for me

hey soph, you sould try putting mascara on right after curling your lashes, while you were doing your lips they tend to fall down but mascara holds them in place and you'll see even more results:) love your video's

Love the video! I think my beauty tip would be use setting spray after your primer then apply foundation to make it stay in place all day💛

Also if you want an insane cut on the eyeliner or eyeshadow, use tape from your outer eye to the eyebrow and when you remove it you'll have a gorgeous perfect liner

I like a good brown mascara for Spring and Summer. Just a touch more natural looking, I think.

I wear minimal makeup day to day abut of concealer, really subtle eyebrows lip gloss bronzer and always use brown mascara. That way my overall look doesn’t look makeupy 🙌🏻

I’ve been doing my eyeliner like Ariana since I was 16. I only stopped a few months ago because I’m in my late 40’s and my skin around my eyes doesn’t bounce back as well as it used to. But this method is soooo much easier than without stretching the upper lash in the corner.

Love your videos, Soph! You are my beauty guru here on KZbin! Brown mascara is what I swear by!! I usually use the Maybelline Colossal in brown (It's still a little dark) - it's just so complimentary for lighter hair and those 'No makeup, makeup days'. TIP for a more natural eyeliner - grab a thin eyeliner brush and a brown powder or gel/ cream liner (Cover the brush with it), angle the brush from the corner of your eye to the tail end of your brow; put the brush as close to the corner as you can, then sweep up to the brow, it subtly adds a little extra dimension to my mascara without being a full wing!

Why didn't I ever think of brown mascara for the lower lashes? These are awesome tips! I also wish I could master Ari's wing! 🤗😄 xx

I really wanted to get a dewy cream blush but they’re expensive. So i mixed my favourite creamy lipstick, half pinch Vaseline balm, half pinch of moisturizer, half pinch liquid highlighter/base like Becca lightshifter dewy tint illuminator. Mix and warm then at the back of your palm and apply with fingers. It’s CHEF’S KISSSSS! Don’t forget to set it for longer lasting effect

I always put base makeup with my hands! It's amazing, doesn't waste products or money on tool 😅 I spray Fix+ every layer and wait 10mins before I put on my next product

When I was a teenager back in the 90s I used to use my hands to apply my foundation all the time. Im now so used to a beauty blender it just doesnt feel normal . But I think I will try it again. And also skincare is very important and my mum always said to me to start early. I started to really look after my skin in my mid 30s. I've always been grateful that I've always had very good skin with no issues apart from the odd spot and dark circles due to allergies. But belive it or not I'm 43 this year. Back in the day kids did used to take the P if you're using anti aging products. But now it's all the rage. My 16 year old niece has more skin care than me and she had a little fridge and all sorts, she loves skincare. It is definitely good to start when you start puberty I think I'm my opinion. xx

Also I'm a brown mascara gal. Black just seems to make a very weird look on my eyes unless I'm very light handed with it. Brown isnt as bold and in your face so it lifts my lashes and makes them more visible almost like a lash tint since they're fairly blonde lol. And it does go well with blue eyes

a couple tips i have are using your finger with undereye concealer (most likely not a matte one because it takes too long) and to use a powder puff to set the under eyes because it leaves it looking FLAWLESS and i also use a powder puff all over the face with a small amount of powder as well ♡ another one i have is to use a lip stain on no makeup days to bring some life to my skin, i use it on the lips, cheeks, eyelids, forehead, and jawline and blend it with my fingers! i also curl my lashes and put gel through my brows when i’m going out but don’t want to wear makeup

just remembered this! i’ve been only putting bronzer down the center of my neck because it’s supposed to make it look smaller? idk i think it works pretty well tho! i also like to apply a TINY bit of highlighter on my cheeks then taking a larger amount and tapping it onto my skin in one place that catches the light really well
