Yeah - India deserves to win the WTC now after losing two times. And once India win it, the BCCI will put even more money and importance into Test Cricket & red-ball cricket, which is what that format needs to survive - India has to financially support red-ball cricket for the rest of the world so that we see great Test Cricketers continue to come from other countries as well.

10:04 but that is exactly what has happened.. A huge number of people in India stopped taking interest in cricket after Sachin's retirement. A lot of these people were from the Gen X, but there were many millennials too who stopped watching the game outside of WCs and a few Ind vs Pak games. This, mind you, will also happen when Kohli retires. Not to that extent, probably, but it will happen. Indians are hardcore cricket fans, but they're also bigger fans of the cricketers themselves in many cases.

As much as I want the poms to be humiliated at every possible opportunity, their attitude towards test is refreshing, also they are the team with the most points deducted at -18, if points weren’t deducted for slow over rate and things, I think Eng would gain 18 more, Australia 10 and India 2. With that they will be 99, 100, 100. Interesting isn’t it. Remember Australia lost the Finals spot to India in the first WTC because of the points deduction when nobody of the team leadership factored those in to the consideration coz it was the first championship. So these things are the nuances that get reallly important

True. Whatever England does is historic. No arguments. Just coz a group of enthusiasts just go gaga about an Indian win that factually does look fantastical it gives the English purists, donning a neutral hat, right to pan and mock the fan groups n in doing so play down the act n very casually berate the achievement. Comparing it to the Rawalpindi test which was dramatic only for drama reason and without the situation demanding it… feels so bizarre coming from the so called objective sports analysts…

A big point which I thought atleast Jarrod will cover but suprisingly did not is that this Indian batting lineup is perhaps the best equipped to play an innings like that when reqd. All top 7 are established t20 batters and everyone except Akashdeep has bucket loads of t20 experience. If I'm not horribly wrong, perhaps no other team has this, not even England.

And that's a true potential of a champion side that they can accelerate whenever they feel to get the result ... And at the same time they can survive or defend in hard situationa while batting is hard on some pitches or on some grounds ... So if someone is comparing with bazballll pls don't baseball is entertaining but not a perfect in all situations and that's exactly why england is not qualifying for WTC final for the third time in a row

In my opinion, I have thought this for a long time that England is the home of innovations in cricket in general, be it the start of one day cricket or t20, English invented or say innovated the existing form of cricket, and now 'Bazball'. And offcourse, other countries took lessons from English and brought these things to other levels. I do think in the next 5-10 years Bazball or Gamball or whatever you like to call it, the result/win oriented approach is going to stay here in the Test cricket and many other teams are gonna go this route in the future

He has that insight into India australia and england that no one possess. But i dont like his analysis but his insights are like he is in that dressing room secretly with camera. India won the 2nd test ( i did not watch , i am not interested in any team that have KL rahul. He is like coackroach that dont go away) because of Gambhir ( a la rooster like mccullum). India do well but india can win world cup under him without BCCI making deal with Ca and ECB. Straight up india can win. Because he cover all the bases. Difference between RahulDravid vs Gambhir ? Theory vs Practical. Idealist vs realist.

Bazball works only when both teams do it. Bazball failed against Australia and India because these teams can play long and score lots of runs. Bazball worked only against inferior batting sides.

WTC making every team to slog hard for those precious win percentage… changing result oriented tests.mindless aggressive cricket can be best seen in bazball which can be only be successful at pindi like pitches.Joe root actually abandoned bazball first thing after first test in india and scored hundred after. Match situation do matters may it be India’s gabba heroics or legendary stokes-leach partnership.

Totally over hyping a game against little more than an associate nation , with India able to play a one day style innings with the back up of a second innings if it went wrong where there’s no way they would get bowled out twice

These guys and their obsession with English! 🤦🤦🤦🤦 What's the point of bazzball or crapball approach, WHEN THE TEAM FAILS TO WIN MATCHES MORE OFTEN THAN NOT?? Just a couple of months ago, England were rotting at the bottom of WTC table!! And yet, these idiots barking nonsense!! We all saw how pathetic they were in 2023 ODI WC and even in 2024 T20 WC!! Seriously guys, don't you need at least 1% of credibility to what you speak?? Keep on blabbering some bs for ages!! 🤦🤦🤦🤦

The bazz ball concept in a way started by Australia from 2000-08 during that period their batter used to scored at a run rate of 4 in a day 90 overs bowled 90% time they always put 350+ on board it gives their bowler immanse time to bowled the opposition twice , secondly our boys are not strong head like English boys that without realising the situation, opposition just go for bazz ball result lost to India 4-1, as in front of them it was jaisball, and bazzball is not English ancestral property it belongs to all so remind it to mr Big mouth Michel Vaughan.🤫

@@deepakishere-e1ddo you understand bazz ball ? It's like play T20 mode in test fast run rate ind scorded 657 runs in 178 over's run rate is 3.69 not even 4 we won its a delightful thing but that's not bazz ball you can called it as great example of endurance.
