Sounds a lot like my husband and my “division of labor” I love seeing you speak respectfully about your husband and about marriage :) so many woman complain and it’s so unhealthy!
@Amanda_Fadul7 ай бұрын
Love that! I agree! Definitely not healthy or productive to complain about your husband or marriage. So grateful to be in a happy one 🥰

Yes, there is nothing wrong with the arrangement you and Pete have regarding housework and/or childcare as it works fine for you both and you communicate about individual needs and strengths. Don't listen to those who try to make you question whether things are 'fair', or who always ask about his whereabouts, what does he do etc. They clearly just want to break up a happy home and create issues where there are none. x

It seems like Amanda is a super nice person. I feel like her comments on OCD(diagnosed or not)are put in there as a joke, but she probably struggles with it like i do. I am diagnosed with it, btw. Some of us use humor to cover up our real feelings when it comes to uncomfortable topics.😊 Much Love ❤️

As for chores splitting, we have a similar setup: my husband does our taxes, admin stuff, repairs - all that I really hate :) And less cleaning and cooking. Childcare is shared. For me it’s not so much traditional, it’s just better for us - I strictly prefer cleaning to taxes or taking to bureaucrats, and my husband the other way around :)
