Headbanger was the first song I heard by them, and still my favorite. Su just owns this song. And Yui and Moa own the crowd.

This was one of the two videos that got me into Babymetal. This song kicks so much ass, and something about this specific performance is really great. The whole crowd jumping together, even the people all the way in the back, is not something I've ever seen before.

“Headbanger” is and has always been my favorite BABYMETAL song and this is probably my favorite performance of it, outside of maybe the Legend M “Moabanger” but that’s kinda different. Someone already linked that to you as well, if you do that video make sure you read the description lol

Great reaction you where really enjoying that and of cause Su give her Legendary Death stare you can not miss it . There is no one out there like them some have tried but they do not have that special something that Su , Moa and never forgetting Yui have . BabyMetal where voted number 10 in "greatest metal bands of all time " in metal Hammer magazine and Metal Hammer has just named Road of Resistance in postion number 29 as one of the hundred greatest songs of the century . 🤘🦊🤘❤

Nice & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。Can you believe that this is the 12th song after 11 exhausting performance (and still 2 more) ? In this video, you heard the crowd shout some words at 04:06. The words are "ki-e-ro 消えろ!" meaning "get out of here!". This shout occurs wherever they go on this planet and whenever Su-Metal directs her mic towards audiences. There is exception, however. In on-going 10 Budokan concerts in Tokyo, we are not allowed to make noises (shout, chant, etc.) because Team BABYMETA is taking strict countermeasures against the infection. The team gives every audience a special mouth cover with BABYMETAL logo (that is cool!) which we should put on his or her own mask. So we keep standing ovation, hand clapping and moving bodies all through the show and swallowing our voices under the dual masks. That is fun!

Nice reaction, thanks! There is literally nothing like BABYMETAL hehe... I cannot use the space bar on all YT text boxes (it triggers the video commands) so typing is kinda weird (I actually had to copy-paste this comment from notepad), anyone else? (thanks YT)

I dare anyone to try the choreoghraphy to this one and not end up throwing yourself down! Even though they are young, this stuff is no joke, especially over the course of a concert and tour.

Since I found BABYMETAL a year ago, I've been looking for other bands to follow. I've given maybe a dozen or so new bands a try, and Band-Maid, Waggaki Band, and Unlucky Morpheus are my favorites out of those. But none still come even close to being as enjoyable as BABYMETAL for me. They really are one of a kind. The last J-Metal/Rock band I really was a huge fan of was X-Japan about 20 years ago. You might want to try some of their songs since they helped inspire BABYMETAL and every other modern J-Metal band. They have amazing ballads like Tears and Endless Rain, as well as some higher energy songs like Rusty Nail and Weekend. All of their performances from the Last Live concert at Tokyo Dome (1997) were great.

Can you believe they made a techno dance mix of this song (not that they weren't already dancing). These girls work so hard and go 120% the entire time and they started this concert with the remix to hype the crowd up even more. These girls had to learn yet another routine for it. Similar yes, but dang they put so much time and effort into what they love to do. Check it out kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4WyhmdrodSErZo There is a shorter version without the entire opening but I feel this one is worth the view. Also that "Whooooaaaa" in surround sound lol. The Late Mikio Fujioka on lead guitar, RIP. I know the official music videos aren't usually recommended here, but the one for Headbanger is great! You Guys needn't worry about running short of Babymetal material, you haven't scratched the surface yet. And then there's the Sakura Gakuin catalog. I prefer the small screen to the watermark overlay, if you have to do something(:

💀 💕 / 🤘 They are something very special. There's nothing like the total experience of a BABYMETAL show. 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' is a classic BABYMETAL song, and one of their early hits. Even though the song is about a fifteen year old girl attending her first heavy concert, Su was only fourteen when the studio version was recorded. It's not biographical, but it is a song she could relate to. At that age she was on stage, rather than attending concerts. : ) I'm really glad it returned to the setlist in 2019. It was great to finally hear it on the last US tour. The Kami Band members for this concert ('Legend 1997') were Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Leda Cygnus on guitars. BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums.

Babymetal is unique and different from any metal band out there. You cannot categories Babymetal into a specific genre of metal because they have everything in their catalogue. There is only one Babymetal. Even if there is a similar band, there will be only one Babymetal. I been a Babymetal fan since 2012 but do listen to other bands from Japan like Band Maid and Lovebites etc. Babymetal forever. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤟

Similar to Babymetal? I would say "Ladybaby" is probably the first band who followed Babymetal in the "Kawaii Metal" steps! But they have a different take :D "Nippon Manju" is their most famous song! A group that mixed some pop vocals with Metal would be "Maximum the Hormone". But they are definetely much much heavier than Babymetal with screams and growls xD They probably influenced Babymetal, since they were active since 1999. If you want to try anything from them i would recommend "Koi no megalover" or "Zetsubou Billy" (this one is the ending song for the anime "Death Note"). Be aware that their original music videos are impossible to find on youtube.

Wait? You didn't reacted to this song yet? For some reason I was sure you already did it, anyway you reach it and that's all that matters. If you guys want to know how much this song means and is so beloved for The One, you should watch the Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2 live versión and you will understand the #notacult thing. Also the MoaBanger version at her birthday was awesome too, but anyone could said that Legend Metal Galaxy version is SuMetal response for everyone saying MoaBanger is a blast 😜 Check out the official MV too, the girls in there were so young and cute you'll love it, plus you will learn something new about BabyMetal lore, later then. Keep enjoying the ride into the Fox Hole 🦊🤘❤️

I don't really want to disturb you on your BABYMETAL journey, but if you're looking for other Japanese groups in the same ballpark, I'd recommend the following: LADYBABY - Nippon Manju (turn captions on); PassCode - Taking you out (MV); DOLL$BOXX - Take My Chance (MV). After that you might be ready for some alternative idols, like BiS and BiSH... maybe. There are plenty of good rock bands too, such as BAND-MAID and Lovebites, who are more focused on the music. If you don't mind stepping away from rock music to look at some EDM, I'd highly recommend Perfume - they are associated with BABYMETAL via their talent company - they put on some truly spectacular shows too.
