Estate sales are the source of my FOMO. They found the best treasure first. I just have to remember the things I found that the other people didn't get.....

I'm lucky in that I don't have a ton of competition here other than stuff like comic books (but as I keep those, that doesn't hurt the business and probably actually helps my bottom line NOT getting the stuff!). And even if I miss stuff...I have a bit of a backlog of stuff to get through!

Before the pandemic we had many great estate sales here on Long Island this last year or so has been terrible and I see more online estates then ever

Thankfully we still have plenty of them- like six to seven companies here.

Great topic. Mostly I dont get FOMO because my house is already cluttered with enough stuff to list. But sometimes there are certain sales I miss and I do get a little bummed out. But then some awesome consignment gets dropped off that make u for it ~Samantha

One consolation about FOMO is that a certain percentage of those sales you are not going to would probably turn out to be duds anyway.
