Cresson salad with finely sliced onions, vinegar, salt and finely sliced tomatoes is excellent..intansive taste in Mauritius. Also bouillon Cresson is very healthy.

Hi Bryan & Riki, Happy New Year ! This video was filmed on the 2nd of January!!! Not so much people, like today was pretty crowded at the market ! The peak hour is around 7.00. The faratha at Baboolall was so tasty & yummy !

Mauritian Alouda is unbeatable..chinese agar jelly and milk with sugar. Toute Maria ...Chia seeds also used. Sega called Alouda limonade glace I think sung by Cyrille Labonne!

Phytates inhibit iron absorption causing iron deficiency. Also reduces bioavailability of calcium and zinc! Learnt this whilst working at Bradford with a big Pakistani population.

I don’t want to be pedantic. *proceedes to be pedantic* but Riki was right. It’s called Pharata. Chapati doesn’t have layers. People use Roti, Pharata and Chapati interchangeably. Don’t listen to them Bryan 😌
@BryanDiscoversWorld3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the pedantic comment, now I have to try chapati, Riki is always right
