Fondant bunting: How to make fondant bunting and flags to decorate your cakes

In this cake decorating tutorial I show you how to make fondant bunting to decorate your cakes with. You could also use flower paste, gum paste, modelling paste and more to create the flag bunting shown in the video. Thanks for this video, I am planning on doing something similar for a Christening cake and wondered about making the flags beforehand as I want to include some detail on them. If I do this will I have issues with sticking them on if they have dried? Could I still use water? Am planning on using modelling paste mixed with fondant. Thanks

+Sally Hogan thanks for watching Sally. If you make them in advance it might be better to stick them on using a little bit of royal icing. You will have to be careful you don't try to bend the flags and reshape them when they set as they will snap :)
