What a great idea. You're so resourceful. I was thinking, maybe leaving the border of the pattern uncut would give it more strenght. I guess it's a matter of trying and see how it looks. You really are very creative and as I said resourceful. Love it.

That is soo creative and innovative. But can't I stick the fondant on the cake then cut out the shape! So it won't stretch or maybe tear
@zoesfancycakes10 жыл бұрын
Yes you can try it that way, you just need to be careful that your cut out bits don't get stuck and leave a mark on the cake when you remove them (if that makes sense)

this is amazing bless u for all ur effort, videos and great work!! im making my lil girls 5th bday party cake this yr and i have never worked with fondant or sugar paste...any beginners guide tips or advice when it comes to avoiding cracking and other issues to be aware of with such ingredients? The party is next sunday...im going all out and making 3 tier fondant cake with sugar paste decorations...im planning to make and decorate it on the day before the party...but am worried incase it gets ruined, or dried or cracks appear. so any advice wud be much appreciated. keep up the gr8 work and thanks xxxx

Thank you for the lovely comment. If your fondant / sugar paste is dry or cracking try adding some trex in with it ( vegetable shortening ) Also try keep a little sandwich bag ( or something similar ) close by to keep your fondant in when you are not using it. Keeping it covered stops it drying as fast x

Hi, I'm not from London, so I'm not sure where the cake supply shops are down there. I buy most of my things online.
