You don’t actually need to totally unscrew the anchor part. Will be plenty of room behind it to get it all out. If you take the bolt all the way out you might end up dropping it. Some of the spot where these go you can’t recover them very easy.

Anywhere those small oval plastic covers are in the bed you can put anchors. The sides and the front of the bed have multiple spots.

Anyone know if they make them with just a threaded stud sticking out? Or can you remove the ring from the stud? I want to install a t-track on the inside of the bed to mount recovery trax.

I’m pretty sure GM makes some kind of bed mounting system. That would allow you to attach all sorts of stuff to. Look on GM accessory website.

These are the only official GM ones I know of. But there may be some aftermarket ones that allow that large of a chain. I think a 3/8" chain could probably fit in these though. The opening is pretty large.

i have 2018 chevy silverado 1500 ltz and they would not turn to pull out. are factory tie downs. i kept trying and they finally fell out of plastic holder and dropped inside of bed wall

Yea. I show how to remove them later in the video. You have to hold a part of it while you back out the ring and then wiggle it out carefully.

GM lists 23143241 for the Colorado when I looked them up. Do you know what the difference is between GM Part: 23143241 or 23146899?

How wide is the clamp and rear of it? Wondering if it will fit a Ford Ranger? The Dezee rings were a bit to big to fit in my cutouts

I have no idea if they’ll fit a Ford ranger. These are for GM trucks. Specially designed for gm beds with oval shaped holes. I doubt very much they would fit a Ford.

I finally figured it out, the claws weren't open fully on the inside of box. A little tap and they snapped open. I accidentally dropped the clamp inside the box but with an antenna magnet was able to fish it out. Interesting some clamp tight right away and other don't. A lesson learned all around. Cheers

Have these installed in my truck and had to remove one to get the drop in bed liner in. When I pulled the pin out the silver clamp closed on itself and fell into the abyss. Had to order new ones so just a word of caution for those doing this.

You should be able to get the piece by laying on the ground and looking up into the space between the bedside and the cargo area. Unless it hasn’t bounced out while driving around by now…

Therese stake holes on the top of the bed rails that you can cut the plastic out and install stake hole hooks into.

Ughhh, 2x the price of China ripoff. I’ll get them but GM charges too much for absolutely everything. They are more solid than the little hooks with the mini wrench.

The bedside is open from underneath, if it didn’t fall thru completely it’s probably just wedged. Look up from underneath and try to grab it.
