This is such a heartfelt video Fonsi. I started travelling alone when I was 18 and out of high school. I'm such a wallflower and an introvert that talking to strangers is terrifying. Younger, I stayed at hostels and would sit by myself eating my food and people would come up to me and just chat, this was so awesome for me to meet people that way because I would never have the courage to do that. We'd then go out and explore the nightlife together or go on tours together. Going on tours alone forced me to talk to others. The world is so vast and with so many different wonderful cultures and people. You're right that it makes you appreciate your friends and family more when you get back. I've made it a tradition to organize a family trip with my family every year. We bring friends and family along and have been all around the world with around 30-40peeps in tow. I love seeing my nieces and nephews catch the wander bug like I have. It's amazing to hear from their parents that they say they want to be just like me when they grow up and work and travel the world. In turn you're my inspiration, your sense of adventure, kindness and love that you spread to others you meet is what the world needs. Not to mention the crazy beautiful places you take us to! Love , Love Love !!!

I’ve been traveling alone forever! I make plenty of friends on my travels and I’ve made plenty of lasting friendships, too! I rarely take anyone with me cause they can’t keep up with me or afford what I can do.

Only good for people who have sufficient funds or good financial support, but for people who wanted to travel and wanted to step out with their comfort zone and do not have financial support then an option to travel is just a dream.

I agree with a lot of what you say. It's only for people who aren't extroverted enough to make friends with random strangers: If you consider yourself an introvert, then before you go traveling hoping that you will meet a lot of new people... I advise you to start first in your city/village. Then, if it's common that you can talk to random strangers for 10-20 minutes where you live, then you can start traveling. For my part, I can say that when I started traveling in my city, I was completely alone (as a hard introvert) until I had a plan of what to see in that place. Then when there was no plan, I felt lonely, because I didn't really have it in me to go up to random strangers to get to know them.

Not everyone is going to be as easy of a time for sure. In my case solo traveling made me more of an extrovert and a more sociable person

Best thing about traveling is meeting really smart and beautiful people. Among the smartest travelers are Scandinavians, French, the Swiss, the Austrians, and Israeli. I met very few Latinos. The Brits, i hate to admit can be most good looking, especially brits with Italian last names.

Its true travling by your self its realy cool and you get a lot of experience for your life. But once comes the time that you have partner. Today i have a partner on my side, and we travel now together. Its also a lots of fun. But you have to be the typ of person for travel alone, its not a thing for everybody.
