@@SpikeTheWolf Yes, with games like genshin, it's easy for a person to feel tired. I played everyday for 2 and a half years and got burnt out, stopped playing for 5 months. The game felt like a chore, but I freaked out the moment I missed a day of commissions; I'm f2p and couldn't bring myself to stop playing. Then, earlier this year, I just stopped playing altogether. It was easier this time because I've practically done everything in the game. I eventually returned to get kaeya's skin and realized the game is much more suited for me if I just don't force myself to do the repetitive tasks in it. Now I just casually play, once or twice a week. It's more enjoyable that way Sorry for the rant, I felt the need to give an example :')

@@BingDwenDwen "play it 1 hour a day" Just like the person before you said, the game felt like doing chores, and you literally said it yourself. It's normal for people to get tired if they're doing the same thing everyday, even if its just 1 hour a day. Not everyone is as enthusiastic as you when you play the game , but we come back every time there's banger releases for sure.

Imagine the concert that will be held when the game has completed the core story. We are treated to 7 groups of musicians as the concert starts with a Mondstadt theme moving on to Liyue next and so on. By the time the Snezhnaya theme ends we are all in tears as we remember our journey. When they finish serenading us with just themes is when they hit us hard with the emotions with Ruu's song to start, then Eternal Oasis. After the first hour and a half we take a mandatory intermission so the audience can rehydrate from the tears.

Not only their music, their story is really deep with a lot of symbolism and mini stories with interesting developments and characters that leave a mark by only appearing a couple times. The writing can be pretty good sometimes. The game has practically no bugs which for open world is such an achievement. Multiple events per update and a whole zone each year. That is really just the surface, this game is amazing and I wish someday Genshin players will realize the love there is, instead of complaining because the game isn’t self destructing with power creep.

Let's be real. Kids these days can't stand seeing middle aged musicians in suits and dresses and think every instrument that isn't an 808 bass or synth or electric guitar is a "boring outdated instrument". The fact that "musicians" of current generation are only making trendy music in hopes to be viral on TikTok is pretty telling. No creativity or vision whatsoever. Those music are pure garbage from an objective musical perspective, and it can't be helped that the mass is propagating their popularity. As long as these 30 second hooks these "TikTok music" continue to undermine the exposure of actual good music like Genshin's, its OST will always be underappreciated.

Port Ormos's music is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard in Genshin, I spent hours walking around listening to that music when I arrived in that region for the first time. (and I agree with that because APEP's music wasn't made by him, and for me it's the best boss fight music. And in Fontaine, the music from Merusea village is very good.) I'm afraid that's not going to happen. There are so many exotic instruments used for every region. No orchestra can manage to gather all of these instruments and, more importantly, their respective (masterful) players. But I think it's possible we will see some pieces for specific regions played.

@@jikap A concert like this probably wouldn't play all of the music from the game's repertoire, but most orchestral performances are about 2-2.5 hours with a decent intermission period to stand up and stretch in between. I guess there's nothing stopping a concert series from dividing the music into different concert series if they don't want to skip too many pieces. (some other stuff that could limit them going on world tour would be: money, time and venue availability are some obstacles. the logistics of having orchestras travel can be a lot, too (for example: hotels, visas, etc. ) If they could manage to bring some of these instruments without them being damaged by border officers, it'd be the greatest miracle ever. I was expecting "oui oui baguette" type theme for Fontaine, but Hoyo decided to deliver "VIVA LA RESISTANCE" type song. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Edit : After knowing the current news, I'm sad to see the maestro of Genshin Music, master Chen finally departed from HoyoMix. But when I was told that this theme and all Fontaine OST was composed by Dimeng Yuan/Xuan Zhao and other composers that are trusted by master Chen himself, I can say that future of Genshin OST is in great hands.

Best bits are 1:51 with the piano going wild, 2:44 with violin popping off, 5:20, 6:34 and 7:15 with the super cool descending notes and finally the piano absolutely shredding at 7:47. Insane theme that perfectly represents Fontaine

Just listening the soundtrack I can imagine Furina as a sensitive, dreamy and gentle person. But after the original Hydro Archon death she had to adapt to her new reality. I can imagine that Furina had so many dreams and goals, before she had to bear the duty of the new Hydro Archon. And the most of them are unreachable for her now. The death of the original Archon caused her to become "prickly" and more distant from her people, as she probably thinks this is how an Archon must be. This, of course, contrasts to her true personality. The only distraction from the harsh reality became the trials at the Court of Fontaine. I would guess that she would gladly retire from her duty, if the opportunity would present itself. Didn't read leaks, so it's all just my speculations, but it would be cool if it will turn out to be correct. That would be blind guess just based from the music

This song reminds me so much of the “element of water”. It’s elegant, mesmerizing yet deceptive. There are both the wondrous wonders and the mysterious secrets hidden in its depths that will never see the light of day. And that make the water beautiful. It gives you this colorful imagery and takes your breath away!
