We also acknowledge that what happened is a genocide and we express our reactions in our own country whenever possible. As Turkish listeners, our complaint is about the institution where the concert is to be held having a long-standing relationship with Israel, and the band announcing the cancellation only 3 weeks before the concert. The Turkey concert was announced in January, and the cancellation was made on August 1st. An earlier cancellation notice should have been given and responsibility taken to arrange the concert at another venue.
