I dont know who's responsible for the marketing team but I wish they made the pupil size and colored graphic diameter size available. Not just the lens size at 14.2mm or the base curve measurements. Korean brands do it all the time and it has been very helpful in determining wether we want to look natural or like a lizard robot. What if they made a small pupil size at 4mm and a graphic diameter of 12.5mm on a 14.2mm lens with very subtle limbal ring and microscopic color pixels. That would sell like crazy. Just saying. The review is great though.

@@teeaniyah1 Olens (South Korean brand) has the daily and monthly lens at 14mm sizes with 12mm size graphic diameter. You could try the Scandi, Spanish Real, Real Ring and Russian Velvet ones. They are subtle and natural.

Cielo is my new favorite color! I currently have them on order for astigmatism so it’s going to take about 8 more weeks but in the mean time I am wearing the non prescription ones with glasses. I have my whole Facebook fooled thinking that I went and had eye change color surgery they look soooooooooo natural on me. They definitely work for all skin tones.

I got my Hidrocor Cielo Toric for astigmatism (they took 14.5 weeks). The color looks different, but still very pretty, and the perfect brightness to me. First 2 times couldn’t handle them for more than 4 hours. But, for some reason, the 3rd time they burned a little but then it went away. Now I can wear them the whole day and don’t bother at all. They feel very comfortable. I think it’s not the material or the fact that they’re thicker, it’s probably the size of the contact (they’re a little bit bigger than the size I use on clear contacts). Your eye has to adapt to it. Maybe…

@@LexisaVianey , now I wear them every day. After about 8 to 10 hours they start to feel dry and dirty so I have use drops if I want to keep them on. Normally that’s when I take them off to not waste all my eye drops. Other than that everything is fine.

i think cristal looks more natural on lighter skin tones. ive worn it for a few years now. they would be perfect if they added a slight limbal ring. the natural colors does not look similar. ive tried both. quartzo was too green toned in my opinion. I have been tempted to try ice. is it just as bright in person as cristal?

Yes it is just as bright as cristal just leans toward blue tone - if that’s what you are looking for you will probably love. I’ve had both in hidrocor but this was years ago and honestly I feel like the newer cristal looks different plus I think the pupil hole was smaller and more natural back then, not sure why they would change something to look worse or why they same 14.2 8.7 would have larger pupil on some colors than others. It would e so simple to simply disclose the pupil diameter Ie: 5.0mm or 4.5, 4.2 etc. - having said that too small a pupil hole like 4.0 is no good, it will most likely blur your vision at night because your pupil will enlarge in the dark beyond the visible area of the lens center. Also it makes your pupil look like pin holes or like your on drugs! The most natural is when the pupil hole is kind of soft edge or blended rather than a sharp circle which gives you a complete bug eye or lizard effect. Ice is a nice very bright light icy grey blue - like cristal but no green at all so hope that helps.

All yearly lenses feel the same in comfort level. Not a big fan of yearly lenses due to the material, but i can wear them for up to 4 hours before it starts to bother me.

Great reviews! It would help a lot to have a side shot, to see how much light gets through. I’d love to use some of these for characters in a series but feel like they look “dead” on side shots, since they don’t respect the transparecy of the eye.

I got my first pair of SOLOTICA Hidrocor rio buzio when I try them in I see blurry and they feel very uncomfortable, any solution to this?

Hi! I would first make sure that it's your correct lens power (prescription) and make sure you store the lenses in a new contact lens solution for 24 hours before wearing them for the first time. You can also try to rub them on your hand with your finger and contact lens solution before inserting them. Additionally, you may have astigmatism and require toric lenses. If none of these apply, contact Solotica if you purchased them directly from their site and not a knock off website!

Great review. I like the commentary a lot, and for a colored contacts virgin, I appreciate this! I have medium/dark brown eyes. I would probably go with Buzios, because my dad has green eyes, and I could probably get away with it, seeing as how natural they look. If I was feeling frisky, I may go with the Aquamarine, but I've never felt like blue would be the right color for me. A darker, grey-ish blue though - that could work. Anyway, thanks!

Absolutely love how these look! Ordered the Ice and Crystal. They look amazing. But damn, they are uncomfortable! I can only stand them for a few hours at a time. They feel very scratchy. Compared to my clear daily contacts, these are terrible in the feel. They are absolutely stunning but I wish they were more comfortable for daily wear.

Me encanta lo que veo de estos lentes. No los he probado aún, pero pronto ordenaré los Cielo. Un detalle que noto de todos los lentes de contacto de color, que no tiene solución, es que la pupila de un ojo real no está exactamente centralizada. Pero en los lentes de contacto el hueco de la pupila sí está en el centro, haciendo que algunas veces, dependiendo de a dónde dirijas la mirada, te hacen lucir turnio.

I hate ocre only because of the pupil. I love the color but with my natural eye color showing through, it looks so weird. Ocre was my first choice for Solotica and it made me look weird. I really wish they’d offer a smaller pupil for all of these contacts.

@@olleh3715 it depends honestly. Have you had an eye test? I recommend getting one done by a licensed optometrist before putting any sort of contact in your eye. I have gotten a yearly exam done since I was 12 and have been wearing colored contacts since then, to help me see of course but for the aesthetic as well when I feel like wearing colored contacts. Everyone is different and personally, the yearly ones are too thick for my eyes, even though I’ve worn contacts for 13 years. A few of them aren’t as thick, which I find odd. It kinda varies with Solotica.

I followed your link, and got the natural yearly Ipanema green, after 1 hour I experienced pure pain. And pushes past the pain, at the 5 hour mark I was done... i have had them out now for 4 hours, and my eyes are still very uncomfortable and burning. It was very difficult to see wearing them. And my vision is still blurry after 4 hours of them out. I uses your code fonzi and went to the linked site. I'm wondering why these hurt me so bad? I've worn contacts my entire life over 20 years. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. But I don't think I can use these, my eyes are red now. And I feel like my eyes are scratched or something. Feels like I'm still wearing them. And I'm not. The color looked amazing though! I'm just wondering your thoughts. Or anyone who can chime in would be great.

Please contact Solotica about this! I have not experienced something like that other than just discomfort after wearing them for about 3-5 hours, but no pain, just discomfort. Also, when you open the lenses, you're not supposed to put them in right away. You must let them in your case with a new contact lens solution for 12-24 hours!

I tried reading the instructions, but the print was so small, I assumed I knew everything there is to know about contacts.... hopefully tomorrow will be a better experience. Also, I wasn't able to tell if they were inside out, I tried them both ways. And wasn't able to tell what way was correct. If you wouldn't mind a video on that, that would be great. Your videos are awesome! You do a great job!

Hi I've watched a lot of review videos from you and I really appreciate your honest opinion, but I dont get why you always show the lenses in studiolights. I would like to see how the lenses perform in natural light, because most of the people who buy these lenses are not only using them in fake lights. Thanks for your lovely feedback! ♥️ and the truth is, a lot of work and hours goes into making my videos, that having to set up a time to go outside and record in natural lighting and adding it to the videos will make the process less enjoyable as it’s way more work. Also, I usually record these videos at night since I have work throughout the day, so having studio lights is a must. I don’t get paid to make these videos, unfortunately. Just a few dollars on KZbin ads. So I dedicate most of my time on my separate business and use this channel as a hobby! I may in the future make a full dedicated video of each lens in natural lighting though, as it has been requested a lot. I hope you understand!

No. Dailies, monthlies maybe quarterly. Use lubricating drops often. Short time first then gradually increase. Consult with your optometrist

Hi the website Solotica sold me faulty lenses the Solotica Hidrocor in Quartzo. I did what they advised soak them for 48 hours in contact solution, still burned and gave me an eye in. Went to my optometrist he examined them yep they are fake, faulty lenses told the website they claimed they are not fake but didn’t want to provide prof from my lenses order??!!! I’m wondering which is the most reliable website to buy real Solotica lenses? Help please!

Solotica Hidrocor range do have the best colours, from Quartzo to Topazio or to Mel; period. But sorry, Solotica let themselves down with how thick the lenses are. I know they last a year but you can only wear them for 2-5 hours without irritation. If they make them thinner which would mean we could wear them for longer periods of times, despite having to buy them twice a year, then I would happily take that. Period.

I’ve had a lot of problems with Solotica lens lately with The lenses not matching. With One pair, one had an almost black limbal ring and the other hardly had one. Then with my topazio monthly pair, one is super greenish and the other is way more blue. I’ve always loved solotica lenses but the quality has been lacking these days. Hopefully they will get it together.
