Thanks for posting this. I must have been an amazing experience to see it in person. As for some of the other comments here... I really don't understand how anyone could say anything negative about this show or any of the performers or performances. My appreciation of this song grew after watching Rufus Taylor play it at the LA tribute show. I don't recall seeing one negative comment about that. When I hear something a little bit different in the way the songs are performed, I just think of what Taylor might say and I'm absolutely certain it would only be positive. It's art.

Yeah I think its overthinking the situation a bit. He's new to the gig, and it's Freese's style. He definitely plays the songs faster for sure though.

De A Perfect Circle, N.I.N, Guns, Devo, etc.... Freese es uno de los mejores y más prestigiosos de la escena, increíble que a alguien no le guste, y lo MEJOR de todo es que tiene su propio estilo y NUNCA va a tratar de imitar a Taylor. Es obvio que Dave siendo baterista haya escogido al mejor para continuar el legado de los Foo.

Sino empieza a tocar más despacio podría decir que Foo Fighters escogió mal, todo lo que he visto de este baterista con F.F es demasiado RÁPIDO, si, tiene su propio sonido, pero debería respetar los tiempos ya grabados o como los hacía Taylor (tiempo, no su ejecución) y en sus grabaciones nuevas si meter su propio sello, pero hasta ahora NO ME GUSTA ESTE BATERISTA PARA FOO FIGHTERS. Y me parece muy extraño siendo Dave tan estricto y exigente en esos detalles.

Si Dave quisiera un baterista que hiciera las cosas como Taylor, seguramente hubiese escogido a un jóven novato sin experiencia, y los Foo no necesitan eso; precisamente a Dave le gustan los bateristas con identidad propia. Además ningún baterista consagrado y respetable como lo es Freese va a estar a la sombra de otro.

Josh is a beast, but his sound sounds dirty and with many similar notes together, this pollutes too much the song, and his transitions are very dry, faster than the rhythm, it breaks the harmony.

Dude it's the first show with him lol give them 50-100 shows. Taylor wasn't perfect at the first tour either.

@@Hahninatortotally, not to mention the back catalog josh has to learn. Plus Taylor was the leader when it came to the jams and extended versions of songs. The whole band is going to be different from now on obviously, but def give josh time to feel comfortable enough and have the confidence in the tunes the way T did. Personally they couldn’t have picked a better person IMO.

Be happy they continued on and we get to hear these amazing songs and fresh new ones!! It's never gonna be the same, but it's still amazing. And the sound is recorded from a phone. 😊
