Marty. You have helped with learning how to play songs on the guitar even though I'm a drummer. Steve Stein has helped me learn really cool stuff on the guitar as well. I have searched many guitar instructors online and the 2 that have helped me the most are you and Steve Stein. So you know the combination of Steve teaching me fret board, bending, pull offs,, hammer on and many more techniques, and you teaching me songs, I know i will have a great time Steve gives web nars that are really cool. As a matter of fact, he had one last night. With the combination of you and Steve I know you have a successful and great time learning the guitar. Thanks Marty..

Nice lesson. I always played the octave part with the g string ringing out. This way is much easier. I’ve seen different lessons on this song and everyone does it slightly different. Yours is by far the most intuitive for me personally. But I have taken bits and pieces from other lessons and put it into a working formula for how I hear and play the song. Thanks for your help. You rock. With or without the hat 🤘🏻

On the second guitar part, I play the main chord, and use the third finger to go 9-11-9 on the fourth string. On the pre chorus, I do octave - 4-6, 5-7,etc, and use the drop D as a drone. Try it!

@TheINfamousrocker You just have to drop your low E string by two notes. Just drop it down until the 7th fret of the E string sounds like the open A string right next to it. Your Low E is now in Drop D tuning. Takes like 5 seconds. Happy playing!
