Now I know what I missed. You saved me so much money! Lol. Thx for filming. Thought they could’ve started the set off stronger by going right into the song. They could’ve also dressed up a bit, but maybe they perform this casual. But Love the Barry Gibb bass drum head!

The Canyon Club is very informal, not really a dressing room to spare. This is a local hole in the wall watering hole that's very close to where Dave Grohl and most of the band live. Taylor Hawkins and Chevy Metal have done gigs both here and Conejo Valley Days in Ventura County, CA in the past, with Dave as a guest performer. These guys dress like so many other unpretenscious people in Southern CA, that unless you knew what to look for, they pretty much blend in to the environment they live in. These guys have been playing and gigging long enough, that they don't need to dress to impress anybody. Comfort is important, for as long as their set lasts.

Canyon was a warm up for Madison Sq Garden. It’s actually a large club @ capacity of 1,200 & much bigger than when they used to roll up on Paladinos in Reseda (250 max). Dave & Taylor loved clubs til the end…..RIP to the Hawk 🤘🏻

I actually have come to find them as even more genuine. They seem to appreciate playing, that they often perform unannounced. That isn’t something that those who just chase money do. I respect them for that.
