Mr. Shiflett is the most underrated member of the Foo Fighters. Yet, I suppose, that must be a real bonus for him because, as you heard Mr. Shiflett himself say - he walked across an entire field of a music festival to see Sinead O'connor (whom I have adored since Mandinka back in the day). Hands up, who thinks Mr. Grohl could get away with that? Then, Mr. Shiflett, without any problems of any sort, without any qualifications - said out loud to the entire world: I went to watch Sinead O'Connor & she was great. Again, hands up who thinks other "Rock Stars" would allow that to be said?

😂 This interview is hilarious!! Commentary on some great acts, and drinking with rock stars. I’m glad Dave’s liver is a nuclear power plant! That means he’ll live a long time!! And lastly, I’m probably am the most British American woman I know, and I’ve met a lot of ppl in my line of work. Dave discovers that Paul McCartney has no Brit award is a high point of the love of music during the last few decades. Instantly reducing the whole institution to have exactly zero value with "Oasis got it before Paul McCartney????" and then getting seriously pissed off at the information about Spice Girls.... Pure gold. In fairness though, the first four winners were the Beatles (the Beatles 1977), the Beatles (John Lennon 1982), The Beatles (the Beatles, 1983) and the Beatles (George Martin 1984). So in a sense, the price started out as a comedy show.
