I love how Dave Grohl, even with all he's done, was still being a big fan boy. Dave is a hell of a composer, but still remains a FAN of the music he loves. In my opinion, that's what separates a good artist from a great artist!

+Monochrome Seasons, I also love the way Dave has a "just doesn't give a shit" kind of attitude (in a positive way), just look at how silly some of their music videos are, and the way he just wants to have fun and not be serious all the time, he's a guy that has worn ABBA shirts and attended Rock Clubs with them on for gods sake. Interesting Fact: When Dave was learning to be a front man, he would study other lead singer's to learn what to do, how to act, how to talk etc, he came across James Hetfield (Metallica), he noticed (or at least had the impression) that James was very professional on the Album, but on stage James was a "jackass", he notices that James would change certain vocals around for comedy effect e.g instead of James singing "Nomad, vagabond" he would sing "Nomad, Jager bomb". Dave then noticed that in-between songs that James would joke around with the crowd, he would burb, talk about tits, talk about fucking, and "I just found that shit hilarious", and when I was forming the Foo Fighters that's who I wanted to be. So we can thank James Hetfield, for partly creating Dave's on stage persona.

I feel like people are taking this album for granted and not appreciating it for what it is. You have to understand that a band who just came out with their fucking 9th studio album can’t make the same record every damn time to please you people. They have to do something new and something they like. This album is a masterpiece. Stop acting like they just brought in some trash rapper to sing half the songs. Appreciate music that’s good. Of course wasting light and color and shape are fantastic but so is Concrete and Gold.

They did it again. It's really cool when you follow a band during so many years and they keep blowing your mind away. Nobody needs to tell them what to do. They are master musicians, and they will keep improving themselves to make music. That's what music it's all about, growing up with your friends and end up making the music you love.

I love how Dave tells the story, he sounded like the kind of guy that you run into a bar and start talking, and he sounds to excited about the story. He manages to tell it so you are like really interested into knowing more details! Loved the record (not my favorite album) but it is solid how they progress and manage to sound a little different each time. It would be annoying to listen to the same album every 3-4 years

I was cracking up at 2:33 just imagining Dave going "WE GOTTA GET GREG IN ON THIS" and the whole band being like "Wat. Dave, do you need go to see the brain doctor again?"

Dave Grohl said "learn to walk again" and "nevermind" in the same conversation so I'm happy in a ridiculous kind of way.

Fuck! It's incredible that after all these years they still make excellent and badass music! The EVOLVE as a band. They keep their essence but each time, with a new record, they create something amazing and unique. THIS is why I love them (also beacuse I love how much of a fangirl Dave is with his idols).

I am a 60 year old mom of two, sons and a daughter in their late 20s. I have been a fan since the first cd. I am a singer, play a little piano so the thought of you doing ALL of that alone. So the Foos have been my favorite band since the 70s which I hope you realize is an enormous compliment. Your music literally saved my life when I was in the hospotal. Long story I tried for 15 years to get to you. Anyway I moved to Florida from Long Island last year and I FINALLY got tckets to see you in West Palm Beach. Im in the hospital at the moment, second time since last week. I just founf out it is acute renal failure. They better fricken fix me because NOTHING will keep me from seeing you. Lots of appreciation & love Adell, no not that one

PanSangex The bits where Dave is voicing other people (such as the manager) have the same improvisationy thing that a lot of Rick and Morty episodes have.
